    Warriors literally rope-a-doped this game.

If the bench can't feed off the Roaracle crowd at home, Raptors end it game 6.

But like they say elimination games are the hardest to win and back to back champs will go down swinging.

Steph, Klay, Draymond and Boogie have to play out of their minds for them to have any chance.

Curry saves the Dubs after that feed from Durant.
Late game errors on Dray and Boogey.
I'd say GSW didn't win. They SURVIVED by freakin' 1 point!

It's a sight to see a team like GSW whose offensive strength is shooting long range and scoring tons above their opponents to played down wire to wire and neck to neck, if we were to base it on the final score.

I'm not saying I'm happy raptors lost but it's a rare occurrence to me seeing GSW survives a game like this hanging a by thread.

GSW can duplicate LeBron's Cavs' survival mode if they were to win it in 7 games.
But history also reminds that Bron's Cavs with Kyrie won at Bay Area back then.
Raptors could finish them off at home.

So it will be a FINAL (yep they'll be leaving Oracle Arena) home stand come game 6.

Warriors GM Bob Myers breaking down emotionally on the press conference about KD's Achilles really out things in perspective. Especially after Steph talks about it.

Warriors may have won this game but as a family it was a huge loss. We're talking possible complete Achilles tear. The team is just devastated. Winning is just completely an afterthought right now.

My brother shared to me a youtube video last night.
About "How the Raptors became an Elite team" (thru trades and not via riping a prospect draft pick, like other team does). A team having issues to land a big name player.

it's 12-minute video but it made total sense.
What raptor's GM did with the team is very commendable.

I felt bad at KD's injury but it can't be helped since the team needs his help badly.
Back to back winning elimination games is hard task but some teams made it before.

Whomever wins the title is deserving. But both teams are deserving at this point.
Either of them wins, it's still a history maker.

But a large part of me is rooting for toronto.
Winning a title is a win for their City, a justification for the team's signing of a 1-year rent All-Star player, a justification for Kahwi to leave Spurs, a justification of their GM's troubles for shuffling trades every year making it a success.

Yeah; really want their final game at Oracle a win (I’m literally passing by it on Bart right now).

Man, I feel bad for KD. I wonder if the Warriors didn't divulge the severity of KD's initial injury at the request of his agent since this is essentially a contract year as a free agent. A great many who've played contact sports knew that KD suffered some kind of achilles injury the first time around, probably a sprain (which is a slight tear) judging by his reaction, but the W's went on record saying that it was a calf strain. When I saw it, I, like so many others thought it was something with his achilles.

I think the W's pressured KD to return when he wasn't ready, and that led to the second injury. Bob Myers crying on the podium is probably 50% guilt because he feels responsible for pressuring KD to get back out there when he wasn't really ready, despite how well he performed for 11 minutes... and now, his career could be ruined.

The really sad part about this is very few NBA players come back to be the same effective star. Out of about 15 well-known NBA players, only Dominique Wilkins can make that claim after suffering a torn achilles.

    Here's my take on it.

The Warriors still think they have somewhat of a shot at keeping KD after this year. Especially with organization wanting to open Citi Arena with KD as the number 1 goal. So with that in mind, I find it hard to believe that the team would've pushed him to play if it meant him rupturing his Achilles and missing the entire inaugural season. Not even for a three peat.

If I DO question the organization, it would be the medical staff and the doctors that were a part of the process, which is new this season because it was overhauled at the end of last season.

I give Myers, Kerr and ownership the benefit of the doubt in terms of decisions they made based off of what was given them.

I will say that his injury had thrown the league into a bigger loop.

He can still pick up his $34(?) million option with the Warriors and just rehab and collect that check while watching the FA this summer shake out.

    OR

He can take a max offer from another team that will pretty much be paying to not play for at least a season, maybe more.

We'll be seeing what team's are desperate enough to take that risk on KD.
