I know that there's some people out there who are thinking about buying this Optimus statue,but my first thought is "Man,this statue is totally out of scale with the lady standing next to it."

 

I decided to try out this line. The upcoming Thundercracker is what got me interested. I love the size and detail of these. And the legacy prices are (somewhat) not too crazy expensive. I just received Optimus. I am thoroughly impressed.

Just noticed this: how is it that Starscream is the only one with the Decepticon Symbols on his wings upside down??
I'll have to re-check the G1 cartoon...  It would be interesting if for some reason SS is the only original seeker with this characteristic feature

Man, that Prime just looks incredible. I know that BBTS is carrying these guys, are they gonna be the best place to order from? I haven't pre-ordered any yet and don't buy a TON of statues (usually from Sideshow) so I wasn't sure if anyone was better than anyone else at that specifically. BBTS is usually great for normal stuff, that said.

 

that's the WEIRDEST thing about the statue market too me, for the most part it's the same 5-6 characters over and over again.

 

I got Optimus from BBTS. Bought on the 25th and received on the 29th. BBTS is the only one I’ve seen carrying them, other than eBay. The IA website says out of stock.

 

Well then, BBTS it is! Have no problems with them anyway, haha. Kinda wish Sideshow would carry them so I can get more rewards points there, but it's all good.

 

Thanks for the list. I definitely want Soundwave (and all the Decepticons). Not sure which of the Autobots I'll be getting. Really need to figure out where I'm going to be putting all of these things. Please keep us updated on releases if you can.

Got OP and he's awesome. 15 inches for him without the base. Now that $200.00 cheaper than a SSC 1/4 and those are about 3 inches bigger, so I would liked them cheaper, but it's within range of most statues. Also BBTS has to import these and gives free shipping so that sure adds to how much they have to charge. SSC 1/5 statues that are about this size range from $400.00 to $500.00

Doesn’t help when some get their prices jacked up. LOC Jazz is about $45 over msrp so that’s not bad but their grimlock at BBTS is $500 usd more than retail price. That is a bit disgraceful.
