    TFcon Toronto will be close to the Collectible Toy Expo (a free fan appreciation event being held nearby at the same hotel on the Sunday, July 14th, going by their flyer). Similar action figure shows have been held close to TFcon Toronto on Sunday in previous years. The 501st (A Star Wars costuming group) has attended those events in the past, maybe that's what you were seeing, though that's not exactly the same thing as a Star Wars costume at TFcon.

    um, is the hotel full? Cause I can't make a reservation. Correction, the website wont allow you to make a reservation, I called and booked one without an issue.
