Ravage. I hate that Ravage. I know why he sucks and how rarely we get a good looking version, but still, I'm really happy with every Siege release so far, except that...thing. I'd pay money for a nontransforming cybertronified Ravage that scales with Siege.
Ravage and Laserbeak. Yeah, they scale to fit in Soundwave's chest, but they are really small and scrawny.
I would say Skythead, Chomia and all micromasters. That's why i haven't bought these. The one i own i would say Ravage. He's so bad that i keep him in cassettes mode in Soundwaves chest. Laserbeak is passible. I got MP versions to stay with Soundwave. I think i'll also get mp Laserbeak too. Every others i do like them all in their own unique ways.
Prowl for me, easily. Too short, very plain and boring deco, especially compared to other Siege figures (panel lines would help, if not battle damage paint), miserly accessories and his gun doesn't even look like his iconic weapon. I can excuse the shoulder cannons as despite the original toy having them, several animation/comic sources reserved them for Bluestreak and Smokescreen to differentiate them more, but the option to use them would have made the toy feel less penny-pinching. I don't like his leg/foot design much either. Again, most glaring to me is how squat and short he feels compared to other figures; Prowl always felt like he should be a taller, lanky-ish guy compared to the squat powerhouses or big guys of the team, but maybe that's just the fiction of the years colouring my perception of him; the fact he can't stand eye to eye (or even close) to any Grimlock I know of and call him a moron makes my Marvel sprit sad. Micromasters are about what I expected, except for terrible balance/standing ability on many of mine. Disappointed we don't get whole teams but that's not a quality issue. Not saying he's an awful toy, far from it, but way below the bar set by the other Siege figures (I own nearly all of them now!). Likewise, Chromia feels rather cheap and hollow in-hand, and mine has ugly splits in her thighs (so did every one in stores I've seen) like they don't quite fit together. She topples over a lot too. However, she's not a character I care much about and from a distance when she is posed nicely, she looks fine. Prowl is a major character I really wanted a great figure of, though. Edit: forgot Ravage, who's by far the worst IMO, so much that I discounted him! Laserbeak looks great, Ravage is cheap, ugly, poorly proportioned, and mine has chipped paint even. I SO wish they'd upped Soundwave's price and packed in a better Ravage (with Rumble/Buzzsaw and Frenzy/Laserbeak sold separately) or just sold Ravage on his own so he could have more money spent on him.
Out of the Siege figures I have so far, hound is my least favorite because the backpack won't freakin stay pegged in. If it was more solid, I'd enjoy Hound a lot more, but it isn't.
Swindler. He almost always pops his hood off when I try to transform him, and he doesn't have a cool "Cheetor as a red car" look like Roadhandler.
I love most of what I have picked up from Siege but my most disappointing would have to be the Micromasters as a whole. I loved the Micromasters growing up so I was anxious to get some updates but after getting wave 1, I was definitely disappointed. The Decepticon Jets have been the best but the rest have been meh to awful. From good to worst are: Autobot Military > Emergency Team > Race Car Patrol. Most of the ones I have suffer from loose legs that pop off easily and articulation that suffer from clearance issues (see Swindler) and I have not been too happy with them having forced combined weapon modes (Race Car Patrol being the worst). To be honest, the original Micromasters were better, IMO. I know they were un-articulated bricks alot of times but they at least feel a bit more solid than these "updates". Other part that disappoints me is the "value". I know we are getting two mini bots for basically $5 each (where battle masters are $6 each) but seeing all that empty space in the bubble, I do wish they would have filled a little of that space with maybe 1 or 2 extra effects parts. But again, not complaining about the price itself but I'd rather have one solid $10 true Legends class figure than two disappointing minibots for the same price.
Anyone else having issues with Brunt's head? I had him since Weds. But didn't bother transforming him till today and freaked out when it fell apart while pushing the head back. Now I'm sure I could just Krazy Glue it together to keep it on but $20 figures really shouldn't encounter this IMO. So just be aware of this potential defect.
I enjoy much of the Siege offerings but Caliburst is a little dissapointing being a straight repaint of Blowpipe in colors that are not G1 toy accurate or even particularly that cartoon accurate either. But since that's the extent of my complaint, they're doing a great job overall!
Of the Seige figures I currently own, I'd say the worst is defiantly Ravage. He's blocky, his proportions are silly, and he is easily the least poseable of all the Transformers in my collection. Well, at least Lazerbeak is solid.
Ravage. I could tell from pictures that he was going to be a disappointment, & he ends up being worse in hand. Transformed him once just to say I did. I've given him the honor of being Soundblaster's chest warmer whenever they release him.
I don't buy figures I won't like. I only own 2 siege figures. I'd consider others when more 3p fillers come. Ultra Magnus looks cool but only in robot mode. Give hound fillers, a 3p create replacement parts for Soundwave and I would probably own more.
Overall, Soundwave. I like his robot mode and that’s it. He has three alt modes and aside from the light post mode being funny I don’t really like any of them. As far as ones that I own, Lionizer. He’s the wrong colours.
I bought 2 Sixgun's. I was planning to make some cool combinations with both figures. Unfortunately none of the pegs & holes were in the right place to do much with them. So I returned one of them & got Prowl instead. So Sixgun is easily my least favorite because he pissed me off. And as a single figure his space ship mode is just meh. At least he looks cool in robot mode. Shockwave is a massive disappointment because of his tiny size. I wanted to put this so-called "leader class" next to my other Decepticon leaders but he's too fucking small for the same price. And there's a ton of empty space in the box. Probably the worst rip-off I ever saw Hasbro do.
Ironhide and sixgun, but only because mine are very loose. There's no way my IH will be able to hold many weapons or anything like that, and sixgun's leg wants to fall off all the time
Hound, since the little armature that connects his leg together came undone and now isn't as solid as it should be. Soundwave has a similar issue with the thrusters on his back but those aren't as critical a part. But overall I'm kind of underwhelmed by Siege. The figures are in general well designed and true to the characters, but most of them just aren't that exciting to me. I'm actually finding the line kind of boring - the figures are great "back-to-basics" versions but I'm kind of missing the novelty of the gimmick-based figures. I just found the PowerHeadTargetmaster Combiners with Pretender shells more fun, I guess. My biggest issue with Ravage is that his face is more canine than feline. Even at that size there's no excuse for him not looking like a cat.
