Assuming you’ve not ready any: Marvel US is good. Marvel UK is good. Dreamwave is pretty good until an abrupt cancellation. IDW will depend on your temperament. For every Furman fan there’s a McCarty/Costa fan. In other words, IDW has been around so long they’ve done a lot of different things, and the fandom can be kind of split on what is “good.” MTMTE (Roberts) was lauded as very good until the end, especially once the title switched to “Lost Light.” RID (Barber) was considered a good start, but started to wear on, especially once it became “Optimus Prime.” The jury is still out on the new series, though most reviews haven’t been strong. One thing that is typically loved is the “Wreckers” Trilogy. Hope this helps some.
“Last Stand of the Wreckers” is the first series. Followed by “Sins of the Wreckers”. Finished with “Requiem of the Wreckers.”
Read the Infiltration, Escalation and Devastation. It's a cool story as it's more about the Transformers hiding in plain sight and living among our race for a couple of years. Definitely one of the best Transformers stories. Stormbringer was cool too. All Hail Megatron was badass. Thundercracker was the highlight of the 2009 series. Maximum Dinobots was an interesting story. Also the Spotlights! Especially Shockwave and Soundwave. Never read the entirety of MTMTE/LL or RiD/Optimus Prime, but both series slowly get bad after Dark Cybertron. You'll notice a quality drop when you get to LL and Optimus Prime. Still fun, you'll love them!
To enjoy MTME/LL, do you need to read the ones immediately preceding it (starting with For All Mankind)?
