Got my G2/green version from BBTS yesterday. Very happy with it. Love the shorted heel spurs, and that the backpack is condensed.

Yeah. The v2/v3/reissue G1 and G2 pics are scant here. There are a couple below:

ended up going this route, the $5 off paid the tax so was still $10 cheaper than other sellers.

If you want to see the differences between this and the original I can make some comparisons tomorrow.

    Rundown
Matt silver instead of chrome engine blocks
Darker blue but fully metallic all over
    Shorter heel spurs
    Tighter all round
Roll cage improvements are that it now can be removed fully to make transformation easier.

    That's about it

My first experience with the mold...first impressions are very positive! Looks great and nicely posable, good tight joints. Maybe a little fiddly with the shoulder bits that tend to unplug when you pose his arms a lot, but that’s a minor nitpick. I haven’t transformed him yet but robot mode is a-ok!

Oh and I adore the birds!! Awesome!

It's a holiday in China this weekend. Dragon Boat Festival. I wouldn't worry yet.

With XTB's remaining Stunticon cars in stock, I finally shipped my stack... a stack which included this little guy. And I'm quite pleased! The bot mode has a nice, dynamic sculpt... Fans Toys' Dunerider is, perhaps, slightly more cartoon accurate in some regards, but the prototype looks so chunky and lifeless. The transformation is pretty simple- arguably, the most pain-in-the-ass steps can be avoided entirely by removing the roll cage entirely, transforming the figure, then putting it back one when you're done. And while Fans Toys definitely has the edge in alt mode cartoon accuracy I actually appreciate that that Arkose's alt mode looks like an actual Chenowth Hellfire, the vehicle the G1 toy was based on, instead of a license fee-dodging generic poorly animated dune buggy.

I think Duneraker is iGear, but I agree that I think Arkose looks waaaaay better than that version.

I'm going to have to contemplate getting this guy and Klattu.

Ah, sorry. Mixed up the name, should be Dunerider. I'll fix it above.

Got around to transforming this little guy! The roll cage has popped off before I could even attempt a non-partsforming transformation every time so far, which is just fine with me. The rest of the transformation is fun and easy, although I have a bit of trouble getting the pegs on the engine block to clip securely into the side of the vehicle. Requires a bit of finagling but it's all good! Very nice dune buggy mode! I thought I'd miss the chrome of the earlier release (which I have only seen in person at TFCon back in the day) but the engine looks great with the silver paint.

mines out for delivery after it's couple day cross country drive from San Fran to Iowa.

I can say the knees are definitely the weakest part of an otherwise nice bot. the paint is a little muddled on the blue part of the engine cover, but it isn't super noticeable and the roll cage didn't explode as soon as I touched it, lol. of course you have to fiddle a little bit to get the rear tires to sit square but not a huge issue either. all in all, save for the knees it's a pretty nice setup.
