Beautiful job on the articulation 3A! Seriously blown away with the poses he can pull off. Really love that you guys are pushing the articulation for both this and Bumblebee. Make it so more fun to pose.

Hope we get another baddie from the G1 scene. Would love Soundwave & Ravage out of all of them.

Just got my DLX Bee today and he is AWESOME! Definitely one of the crown jewels of my gokin collection right up there with my Metal Builds! Can't wait to PO Optimus next week when BBTS gets them. Really looking forward to the future releases for this line!

I’ve pretty much stopped buying mpm’s and selling off what I have. The deluxe scale has won me over. I own 3 premium scale 3A figures and they are amazing, but I don’t have the space for more figures that size. Between studio series and 3A, mpm just doesn’t scratch any itch for me anymore.

man this guy’s looking good, i may also wait for sideshow since i have credit sitting around for years, and it doesn’t seem like bamba has any exclusive accessories anymore.

does anyone know if 3a ever mentioned doing a premium version of prime?

the more i look at this guy, the more the thighs bother me - it’s not the fault of 3a at all, but i can’t get over the design where the inner thighs are tapered whe the outer thighs are straight - gives him that bow-legged look. but it’s probably only noticeable when he’s in a static a-stance...

Be nice to see the prime/bee/blitzwing in different sizes like together for scale. Has anyone done any mock ups?
I've looked at measurements for each release - but easier to actually see them together - which I thought I might see in these photos - nope!

I was keen on getting the Bee from months back, then they announced a larger one, (had no idea they were making it until couple weeks back) and still wanting to know which one scales better with the prime figure (and are they doing prime in two sizes as well, or just one)?

Any help appreciated, as often this stuff sells out on pre-order before there are any final pics / comparisons etc.

Ok.. this is officially the last Optimus Prime I'll ever buy..unless there's one that transforms.. then second to last.

It's Optimus Prime, there's no way they won't do a premium scale version of him (which is their large scale, typically around 50 cm tall).

The deluxe scale Bumblebee obviously scales best with the deluxe scale Optimus, since you know, that's they're part of the same scale.

Premium scale Bee would not scale at all with Deluxe scale Optimus, he's way larger. They have the measurements on their website for reference. I'll probably do a mock up soon when I have time.

It's in the announcement photos if you want to see Prime and Bee next to each other. They're side by side in a few of them. I believe Blitz is almost as tall as Prime so just imagine that.

They actually look pretty close to scale compared to the movie. Maybe like half an inch off but pretty close.

Depends on whether you're a displayer or a player. 3A if you want to display, Toyworld if you want to transform and play. Aesthetically, 3A hands down has the most accurate sculpting. Comes down to how much accuracy you're willing to sacrifice for a transformable version IMO.
