Well, I come to you a humbled man. I was going through the collection to sell off extras and started transforming CW Ultra Magnus for the pics and man... Even with the X2 Toys kit, he lacks something this guy has.

Don't get me wrong, I love how he's all one bot in CW (although, MP does it perfectly...) but there's just something really substantially more satisfying about S:WFC Magnus that CW can't nail.

Just bought him up today, he is a very solid figure, looks cool standing next to Galaxy Upgrade OP (the brothers of war).

I picked up Shockwave while I was at the store, it didn't feel like there was a figure in the box compared to UM.

The image was from Daimchoc FB. However, the actual link of who made it was part of a 3P product series within the 3P forum and I don't recall the thread name.

Guys, I think I have found what you're looking for, seemingly TFSAFARI is working with these guys for SIEGE. I've just ordered one gap filler and one weapon set for ironhide, seemingly they're quite legit. This set . I will order more from them including the war hammer for ultra magnus if everything turns out to be good.

recently got this guy on impulse, even though i hate the partsforming and wlbino prime thing.

honestly, my main issue... why is he so handsome? like, his armored mode face is ridiculously chiseled and good looking. armored magnus is unequivocally the best looking dude alive.

Agreed. To me this is a magnus straight off the assembly line who hasnt seen much combat. He doesnt have hisvfamous goggles yet. You could say a youthful almost naieve magnus

Im a massive ultra magnus fan as im sure you csn tell and this is a great updste.

Agree wi5h this. Despite the cw being a bigger version theres more substance to the siege version. More heft.

Eh, I still give the "most handsome face sculpt" award to CW Leader Jetfire.

Yeah, I like my CW Magnus as well, but picking him up and posing him or transforming him is a totally different and... less satisfying experience than the Siege Magnus.

By far. CW Magnus serves a purpose, he's not a waste of a toy, but he's not Siege Magnus. Do I like that the Leaders are all glorified Voyagers wearing a costume? No, but Magnus rocks it hard and does it like a champ. I just wish someone could've found a way to retain CW Magnus's gimmick (all one robot) with the heft and quality of Siege Magnus. I get why they made him the whole Kirk Lazarus/Tropic Thunder thing, but it's the price to pay for a figure this solid and chunky. Plus, the darker and richer colors really pop compared to CW's pastels and swirly plastic.

Seeinn Smashdown with Magnus just sort of sets it in my mind further that lil' Smashy needs a handle extension of some sort, whether it be Soundwaves third gun or some sort of Shapeway print.

So I got this guy and have been slowly removing the battle damage. I really love this figure and he's become my go-to Ultra Magnus.

I'm curious though about how many people have removed the battle damage from this figure and what they did to the front bumper that winds up on UM's butt? I've taken it off and removed all the paint and plan to repaint those four ...headlights? Gun ports? Intake scoops? Whatever, I plan to paint them and put a small dry rub Autobot insignia there, but has anyone tried stripping that and repainting it before? I haven't seen much customs along those lines yet.
