Yeah, I really love these guys (especially the awesome integrated lens transformation) but do wish they had the colors from the KFC version. The purple is a bit too saturated for my tastes.

 

Sold these guys off a while ago but man do I miss those sweet green chests!! Reminds me of the hologram on the marvel comic where wolverine got his adamantium ripped out

 

I just bought this one tonight because of a really good deal and I thought I'd share it for anyone else looking for a good Reflector. Shame I can't buy off the Make toys site without being taxied/taffifed into oblivion by the Royal Mail customs clearance fees otherwise - yes I would buy these.

I need to sell my mint in box, never opened one and my 2nd opened one too. Probably will take a loss on them now but its just too big for my NON MP collection. they are extremely nice though

 

if someone marks them as a gift/used and list the price of the item as really low, do you still have to pay a lot of taxes ?

 

It's because they'd be Merchandise from a company that they'd likely get charged. It is less of a problem from ebay sellers. Items marked under £14.99 (even merchandise) doesn't get charged - it was supposed to be a multiple of the price of the 1st class stamp that you got as an exclusion it actually went down as Gordon Brown was annoyed that people in the channel Islands were selling DVD's with no Tax on them under the customs limits - so the pr** lowered the rate to capture that market. The UK has a real problem with allowance on many taxes they just don't go up with inflation some of them have remained the same for decades meaning inflation is robbing you really - it's just the same with Parcel exclusion rates - the clearance fees naturally do go up - they have nearly dubbled in fact. That is one reason why it's not to painful buying off Amazon.com as they charge the tax but not the clearance fee so they don't get charged as much as tax & Clearance is - which if you buy something just above the limit can be nearly as much as the item cost in the 1st place.

 

They're just getting reissued so you may want to wait until they're back out of stock again to sell yours unless you're willing to take a loss.

 

These guys just arrived from the Maketoys' store, and for anyone worrying about taxes and customs, they actually wrote a lower price (around 40 usd) on the box.
But anyways, these three dudes are amazing, they don't feel as premium as other figures i have, but for what i paid them I'm more than satisfied. They pack some serious articulation and they really look the part, the swimcaps bother me way less than expected, and I don't think I'll risk damaging them for the mod. They are carbot size, which i think is a bit taller than they should be, but i feel like it works much better this way with their Decepticon brethrens.

Overall I'm very satisfied and i really recommend getting them, especially for the discounted price on the official store. Last but not least, getting this set legally binds you to taking this pic

If this set were in colors similar to the other Reflector sets, this would be my set just because of how well integrated everything is.

 

Yep, this is what I did last year when they held their big sale. Got Visualizers for a steal of a deal and got Despotron for cheap too! Customer service and shipping were pretty good. I highly recommend taking advantage of this if you are in the market!

 

Same boat. I like their size, the green chests, and overall look with some minor gripes but the color they went with I struggle why MT did that.

 

They should've been more blueish, that's true, but the purple they went with looks really good, the only customization i was thinking about doing is painting the arms a darker gray, but I'll see about it

 

I love my Visualizers and wouldn't want to trade them for a KFC or FT set. Glad I made the right choice back then.

 

Yeah, the very purple color they picked is the most frustrating part. Even more so than the swim caps, lol. I like mine, but really wish they were closer to blue.
