Who's that shark guy entering the Maximals' office at the end? Depth Charge's gun?

I loved these comics. Yes they were perverted at times, but you could tell a lot of love was put into them.

I think as part of the "unification" Takara is pivoting to using the "Select" branding on stuff like that.

So Legends is really over? I hope that doesn't end up reducing the likelihood of the somewhat more 'obscure'/alternative Japan-exclusive characters getting toys even further.

Pretty sure he already showed up in the webcomic a few months ago.

Considering we’re getting Star Convoy, Seacons, and apparently Super Megatron... I think we’re in good hands.

i mean, star convoy is pretty obscure. takara isnt doing the same generations selects figures as hasbro, but each company is going to release the other companies exclusives

I've been wondering if those might have originally been planned as part of Legends before being moved over to Selects.

I guess that's one benefit we can get out of this.

To be honest, though, I tend to think of Star Convoy as being less 'obscure' (due to him actually being a version of Optimus) than say, Blue Bacchus. And I was hoping for a Takara Sixknight.

(Also has anyone seen CHUG Star Saber? I actually expected him to be released first, possibly followed by Star Convoy, with Dai Atlas being a very remote possibility.

(I'm kind of wondering if someone at Hastak didn't want a new Star Saber toy to be mistaken as the IDW version of the character (Game of Thrones fans, I do sympathise), and are now waiting for a new one with a more traditional personality before releasing a toy)).

So, we now apparently have the end of Legends, as well as the webcomic. On the flipside, if both companies are releasing the Selects figures, I hope that translates into less customs charges for me (UK ones are crazy).

Also, I imagine Sakomoto will be back, one way or another. Maybe we could get a Selects webcomic with the release of Star Convoy.

He was. So much was said in the pages of last month's (I believe) Figure King.

It was fun to be a part of this series! I thoroughly enjoyed the work I got to do with it, and I really enjoyed Sakamoto's work on it. : )
This was a nice way of wrapping up TF Legends. I do hope there'll be more comics at some point!

I think Star Saber and Dezarus are both being held back for mainline release at the appropriate time. Hasbro simply caught G1 fever in co-marketing the Bumblebee movie. With Titans Return being one of the more successful non-movie Transformers lines in recent years and moving past this cinematic event, I don't think Hasbro will shy away from giving some of the less well-known characters some love in the very near future. We're already starting to see cracks in the G1-only wall with Cyberverse.

Yup. Depth Charge's nuclear cybershark drone was characterized as the speaking character "Remora Son"「こばんざめたろう」in Japan.
