well, the other two have hidden headlights so all that would light up would be the park lights, would look a little goofy and would take up too much space to make the headlight doors flip up.

What type of batteries are needed and how many?

Panic over, I received a shipping confirmation from TFS-Express this afternoon. All is good, can hardly wait for these fellas to arrive now.  

 

They look so so so good together, the scale is spot on at least for my taste but you know you can't combine these bad boys, right?  

 

Can confirm that the "push on each side" technique from @TMan978 works a treat - thanks dude. Mine naturally popped in the right direction once I'd pushed both sides.

Slightly less positively my gun had separated into two halves in the box, meaning the both bits and the barrel were rattling around loose. No harm done tho and easily glued back together. The worst thing about the transformation was the fear, but in reality it was absolutely fine.

Love the bot mode, and the head sculpt is

One thing I noticed last night with Deathwish. My copy doesnt seem to want to disconnect at the waist/peg joint. I press the button on the front and he just doesnt want to split in half. Overheat separates just fine.

Anyone have an advice?

 

Not tried mine yet but if it's the same I'd probs try and open the waist up to see if I could see what was stopping it.

 

Like I said earlier, I unscrewed the back of the waist and took it apart to see how the mechanism worked. I didn't end up doing anything to the pieces, but when I put it back together, it just started working. It also started squeaking less when I rotated the waist, so maybe its just that the waist is screwed in too tight and you just need to loosen it a little?

Have you been reading the thread? Everyone's been talking about how to (potentially) safely maneuver that piece without it breaking. Hurts to see someone here break it this late in the conversation.  

 

Mine are still making their way slowly over from China, but I can't imagine I'll ever try transforming that flap now. It just doesn't seem worth it. He'll be in car/arm mode 99% of the time after Motormaster is released anyway, no harm in leaving him with a butt flap till then.
