Did you all also get the email saying the WFC Omega Sup shipping is now delayed a month?

I ordered mine from Amazon, but I'm sure we'll eventually get the message that it's been pushed back as well...

Hadn't seen it before now, but yes, I got it. It's okay with me, as I keep a TF fund that I put a bit of money into each month, and I was going to be behind when the cost of OS finally hit. Now, I should be pretty much on-target.

 

MP-47 is up....though $10 more than other shops.... Pulse strikes again!! Just when you thought Premium had some sort of advantage haha.

They're not allowed to directly compete with the other retailers. Plus, it's one more place that'll offer him for sale in case other stores happen to sell out. People complain about Pulse, and while I agree that the Premium certainly seems like a joke, it's at least an option, one we might not have.

C'mon, people. Be glad, not sad. I'd rather have more options, not less.

Hey, I hear ya. I actually pre-ordered it from them because I'm not worried about $10 and would rather have the order from the source. It's just kinda funny/not funny. Because if they aren't supposed compete then what advantage could Premium possibly have? I mean, Amazon Prime gets free shipping too.

See above. I'm not salty. I know people complain alot about Pulse on this thread, but I'm not one of them. Is anything I said inaccurate? No. We're all good here, but thanks for pointing out the obvious  

 

We haven’t seen what perks Premium will have (other then free shipping) but let’s wait till the year is over before passing judgment. Pulse hints there’s more stuff coming.

Regardless, I’ll keep gushing about Pulse because the pre-order and the synchronization with Takara’s product reveals hugely impressed me.

I’m optimistic the service will only improve as time goes on.

 

Because some folks prefer to shop directly WITH Hasbro and not have their funds go to companies like Amazon (borderline human rights abuses, let's be honest), Target (political motivators, should stick to selling items) and Walmart (just the worst of the worst, make Amazon look like a protege'). Plus, they tend to have stuff in stock when no one else does (in case you miss the shipments the first time 'round, such as Brunt on Amazon. People are still trying to nab him and Reflector. Still.) Also, they're still working out the kinks on the Premium end of things, perhaps something good will come of it. We have to at least give them a chance before we write them off completely.

At the end of the day, you're more than welcome to shop wherever you want and you should feel no condemnation for doing so. That said, offer the same courtesy to others who do wish to shop at Pulse and Pulse alone, or primarily. When you say things like "what advantage?" you're forgetting that Hasbro is behind all of this. Without them, Transformers wouldn't exist, so we wouldn't be here talking right now if that had happened.

And remember, there are people working behind the scenes at Pulse. We pay their paychecks, we put food on their tables, keep the roof over their heads. There's something to be said for that. We should take that task with integrity and honor and be glad to do so, rather than to wish their business would close because one doesn't understand it. (And ultimately, that's what these complaints about Pulse are leading to.)

 

Love the optimism and hope you're right. It's tough to complain about something that was free. So, in the meantime, it's equally good to point out what is and isn't in an objective way.

Wow guys. If anyone cared to pay attention, I have been super supportive in the past about Pulse. I've never complained. I agree with everything you're saying. So there is no need for people to be hyper sensitive. Just like you don't want people to complain as being hyper sensitive, there is no need to be defensive. There is no advantage to being Pulse Premium. Period. I didn't say there was no advantage to shopping on Pulse, because there is for all the reasons you stated and that's why I do shop there.

I agree with you. In fact, I posted the link for those who do want to preorder like me. And if you recall, in the very text you quoted from me, I stated that I pre-ordered to support the source.

 

actually there is an advantage. with pulse premium i was able to order both ectotron and star convoy for cheaper than anywhere else thanks to free shipping (ectotron at the initial $40 and star convoy $10 cheaper than anywhere else)

 

No doubt what you described was an advantage of shopping at Pulse. I did the same. I just don’t see the Premium advantage. Glad you do. Many of us don’t yet and hope it’s realized before renewal because i’m rooting for the site.

as it stands its just free shipping, with more to come, but thats also free shipping on items not available for the same prices anywhere. ectotron can be gotten from gamestop, but not for the initial $40, and yes star convoy can be gotten elsewhere, but not for $85 unless you live in japan and can order from takara tomy mall

 

I mean, Pulse is my go-to site this year since it has free shipping and brick-and-mortar distribution is terrible, but going from "monthly perks!" to "maybe sometime perks?" after just one kinda useless one is disappointing no matter how you slice it.

 

Hasbro hasn't been squeaky clean either.

FWIW, while I certainly agree that people should feel free to support whatever site they choose, for whatever reasons they choose, complaints about any site for having "political motivators" always ring to me as hollow. No one tends to accuse any site of being "political" unless those "politics" happen to be ones they disagree with. It's not like suggesting that (different) sites have "borderline human rights abuses" isn't a "political" statement, after all.

My apologies that THIS is a political statement. TFW does indeed try to avoid that kind of thing for a reason.
