Mark’s scenario is actually fairly plausible considering the deals many of these companies already have in place. Netflix and Amazon are obviously the biggest players in the game right now in addition to Hulu and the upcoming Disney service. I imagine there will eventually be some kind of Hulu/Disney Plus bundle where you basically pay for one service in full and the other half off. NBC hasn’t really shown any signs that they want to branch into first party streaming based on what I’ve seen so far. I could see CBS partnering with Netflix or Amazon some time down the road. Other streaming services like that Wal-Mart one are going to get buried and I imagine one of the other big companies will learn from what they did right and wrong. YouTube Premium will probably just stay as its own thing too since it’s not expensive and it’s primary appeal is one great show in Cobra Kai and a bunch of nice bonus features to your YouTube experience that month.
Rumor has it David Tennant will be back in S3 of JJ. Who knows in what kind of capacity, probably just in her head like in S2, but hopefully throughout the whole season and not just in an episode. He was the best part of that whole series so if they want the last season to be good in any capacity, they will use him more.
For those complaining about Jigsaw's appearance being unfaithful to the comics - here is a quick piece about facial deformities and TV/movie villains: https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...a28f2191131_story.html?utm_term=.bc8e77e6c344
so i'm going to still complain about jigsaw's appearance because it was bad...and now i'm also going to complain about this article.
Well, have some doubts. As has already been discussed, there are legal reasons the Netflix shows can't simply be ported to a Disney-owned service.
I meant it more as having Marvel do their own versions of these characters on their own platform so that they can incorporate them into the movies.
'The Punisher' Actor Thinks the Series Might Come Back With a Different Cast I know some people arent excited about the idea of some characters being recast, but what he said is true, its gonna be difficult to keep the same cast as they will be moving on to work on new projects, thus who knows if they will be available should Disney+ or Hulu revive the series
Absolutely. I think the idea that these shows will come back more or less as is is pretty farfetched.
For example Mike Colter just got cast as the lead character in an upcoming CBS show, what if this show does well to run for several seasons, if Disney wants to do Luke Cage again, they may have to recast if Mike new's show is still going by the time they do Luke Cage again.
Not just recast, but fire every writers and producers cause they don't know how to read comic books or tell a fucking compelling 13 episode stories.
I look at those figures, and I know they can do better. ...Cause I did.....and I don't have anywhere near that show's budget.
Robot Chicken isn't on the air still. Probably one of my favorite shows. I just think it's clips they post here and there.
Robot Chicken is still on the air, technically. There will be a new season at some point, it just hasn't been scheduled yet.
I would hope, with the writing WELL on the wall while it was in production, they went ahead and made something worth watching. If they, instead, phoned it in, well...enough of the Netflix Marvel shows have felt that way already, I can only imagine if they ACTUALLY gave up during production how bad it can be.
