Back to Colorado? I kid, I kid. Sort of. FLA would love to have Bob. Lu isn't getting any younger. However, Columbus might try to hang on to two of three.
Wow Stars, gave up 50+ shots to the Blues? Oh well, good luck in next round St. Louis! I hope the NHL breaks up this officiating crew for rest of the playoffs. It is like they decided put the four slowest skating refs together.
Yeah, going to have to wait another round to see if that happens. Come on, Hurricanes, crush the Bruins.
I have been reading the rumors that Malkin will go to Florida and Russians love Miami. But I think the price will be too high for Malkin. He is 33 yrs old.
Dallas will try to get one of them, but I've been reading it's unlikely if they want a long term deal.
Gah, I hate the Bruins. Karlsson looks hurt. He could barely make it down the ice in the 3rd in SJ's loss to the Blues.
Wheels coming off the San Jose bus in the 3rd. Looks like it will be Blues vs Bruins for the Cup. Will be rooting for the Blues based on their story this season.
With Karlsson, Hertl, and Pavelski injured, they were kind of done a couple of games ago. They've got the core signed for a few more years.
Oooof. Nyquist UFA, Karlsson UFA and his wife doesn't want to stay in SJ. Lost draft picks and prospects. Did the Senators win that trade?
Karlsson's wife is from Ottawa, if I recall correctly. The Sens didn't really need more forwards initially, until the traded Stone, Duchene, and Dzingel. The players they got in trade for Karlsson, namely, Tierney and DeMelo, well, they weren't terrible, but they didn't exactly set the stands on fire. Karlsson long term is a bit of an unknown. He plays well even when hurt, but after a certain point, he just can't. I feel badly for his health woes.
Ottawa did win this trade. Four players and two draft picks, for a player they would have lost for nothing, and they get a third pick if he signs with San Jose. I'm glad Dallas did not trade Miro for him. That kid is the future of our blue line.
Congrats to the Blues. I would not have been happy if Boston brought home another title; especially after all those end the 4 month championship drought banners. Plus, St. Louis ended their own drought.
Was rooting for the Blues but didn’t think they’d pull it off in Boston. Incredible game by Binnington to keep them in it; once the Blues got that second goal they trapped the hell out of the Bruins to victory.
