It's all good, some of the different realms can get quite confusing.  

 

I have an extra new DX9 Gabriel MIB with the chest insignia by Jream if anyone here in the US is still looking for a good one. I opened it to check it out as it was second batch one from BBTS, the paint is great with no issues for anyone interested.

How does one actually order from Taobao? I don't understand any of the text.

 

Man, it's sad that this figure still has joint issues a year later.

 

I have had my figure for over a year. I never had to fix anything. Everything moves fine and I just went transformed it again yesterday. It sucks, but I think most of the issues were with the very first batch.

 

I still have one if anyone stateside is looking!!!

 

I need this on Legend scale.  

 

Yeah, had mine for about two months now and he is great. No issues at all.

 

Wasn't it the plan to drop a smaller one from DX9?

 

Just purchased Gabriel from BBT, happy to report there are no issues with mine. Can anyone tell me if there's a sticker map available for this big guy?

 

I asked Toyhax about it back when he came out and for some reason they don't seem interested in making one, which is odd as they do have one for Terminus Labels for Fans Toys Terminus Giganticus and Huge Dragon Labels for MFT Huge Dragon
I frankensteined mine together out of G1 labels, and toyhax leftovers, but maybe one of those would work well enough.

 

Thanks, Spot. I was thinking about ordering that sticker set even though it's a different product. I may still do that, but I also have a lot of left over stickers too that can probably be used. I just find it odd that DX9 would provide a large sticker sheet but no map for where they belong. I can barely read most of them.

 

So TFS is saying they have Gabriel "back in stock." Is this a new batch from the factory or is this the same problematic batch from launch? Anyone know?

 

it is supposed to be a new batch and not the leftover b-stock.

Iirc open the side hatches and push the arm joints out.

I.... think I notice them now. How are you supposed to pry them open? >_>

 

You can either rock the piston looking parts or wedge fingernail under those little squares (they overlap the seem).

 

I got it .. fingernail(s) definitely weren’t working and I literally had to pry them open with a spoon.

Oof.

That wasn’t fun at all. Not a good first impression lol.

Edit: ahhh no his elbow joint doesn’t want to ratchet back into a straight-arm. Holy shit frustrating so far.
