Maybe I should have noted that for that part of my post I was wildly speculating. Much like what I'm doing below.

Note that I said staged 'wardrobe malfunction'. And I'm not talking something like Janet Jackson at the Superbowl, more like part of a pant leg rips off or a seam splits. Something that would spark some level of Saudi outrage while being relatively small and leave WWE with plausible deniability.

I could see WWE wanting out of the deal at this point. Twice a year they have to interrupt ongoing storylines to do some build for shows that are even more inconsequential than usual.
Some sponsors probably aren't too happy about WWE working with Saudi Arabia. Shareholders might not be. I know there are fans that aren't happy. Given that there's wrestlers that won't/can't go, I'm sure there's talent that's not happy.
Given the TV deals, which I believe were done after the Saudi deal, WWE doesn't really need their money (though it's probably hard to pass up).

We don't know the terms of the deal. It's conceivable there's penalties if WWE backs out but not if the Saudis do. Could even be possible there's a buyout clause if the Saudis end it.

I read Sami Zayne isn't even allowed to go to Super Showdown due to his ethnic background. I guess it saves him dropping a ton of money for a trip like that because you know WWE isn't paying for his travel expenses. And back to raw, anyone else surprised they showed Lance Armstrong on screen? Really shocked he didn't get booed for being the cheater he is. Remember when Rock dissed him in the ring a few years back?

Same thing happened last time, but the story line excuse was Sami was ill or something and he made a joke about it on the raw after.

Yeah the Armstrong thing surprised me too, i didn't think he would get boo'd but i didn't think he would be featured. but he was sitting with "alright, alright, alright" so they had to show him.

I really could care less about this Super Showdown show. Wont be watching, Only thing I hope is Lesner just teases cashing in. And that he fails when it does happen. If they put the belt back on him again, I may truly be done with WWE as a whole for a long long time.

This thread is big. I don’t know i read it here, but Rollins should return the chair beatings from Lesnar with a chair shot of his own........right after the bell rings. Automatic DQ. Rollins still champ. Yeah, yeah, fucked up this, fucked up that, BUT Lesnar is NOT champion. So, it works for me!

I can find out for you, but you’ll have to be more specific which Suzuki you’re referring to. (Sorry, I’m not all that knowledgeable about the Japanese organizations)

If you mean Minoru Suzuki, his theme Kaze Ni Nare was written specifically for him back during his Pancrase days in the mid 90s.

Man, that Undertaker/Goldberg match. That was sad.
I don't know if Goldberg legit brained himself on that corner spear or Taker got him bad with the Tombstone but they fell apart after that point. Botched Jackhammer that was more brainbuster. Goldberg couldn't get Taker up for a Tombstone nor could Taker get Goldberg up for the second one (not sure if that was a Taker or Goldberg issue). The improvised/backup finish of the weak chokeslam.

And then there was the look on Taker's face right after the pin. He seemed so disappointed. I think we just saw the moment where Taker decided to hang it up finally.

If you can, give it a watch. It's a trainwreck, starting from Goldberg's entrance. They did the escorted walk from the back and he did the door headbutt, which started him bleeding a little. I think he even knocked himself loopy with it. He looked a little off during the walk towards gorilla and then missed the timing for the pyro.

    If that’s the case...

    @Rattrap Primal
Go to wrestlingmedia.ws and search for “Kaze Ni Nare”, it will come up with a list of official releases.

Sounds like it'll headline the next Botchamania.
