Anyone know the articulation on Godmars?

 

More or less (at least a year since i took him out of his detolf prison) ... what fo you wanna know?

 

Does he have articulated knees?

 

if i remember well, yes he does. but the range of movement is pretty limited (just a few degrees bacwards if i'm not mistaken).

There’s a weird knee bend (that’s not at the knee really) and basically no leg articulation out or sideways. Completely made the whole figure pointless to me personally. Think it’s something SOC need to work on.

 

Yes... but not alot. The actual effective joint is at the top of the knee and only has about 45 degrees of swing. God Mars is a wonderful brick of a robot. He's one of my favorites, but you're not gonna get an Iron Man pose out of him. At least not in combined form. The individual robots are pretty spry.

 

Knowing that he has some is enough.  Wotafa's review didn't show his knee bend and I was concerned.

Huh, pretty damn high up on the leg for a knee bend. Still looks good though.

 

It's weird. There is that very high on th eleg "knee joint". Plus there is just a little bit of lower flex about mid point on the leg bots. I think an effect of each robots stand alone articulation. But that lower flex is minimal and looks weird.
