Well after 2x back and forth it sits pretty flush, flush enough anyways

So all wheels on the ground comes at the expense of proper ground clearance and vice versa. Xtb, Xtb, boy I tell ya.
How well does it roll freely on a flat surface?

looks like they used the left shoulder in the animation and comic, but there are a lot of panel lines there so yea, it's going to be interesting to find a good spot.

 

My Dragstrip was set to arrive tomorrow but it seems that something hasn't gone according to plan  

....... cuz it's coming today instead!   Can't wait!

 

I was thinking a small one close to his neck that would be facing outward in alt but upside down in bot...

 

Dragstrip, rolls pretty good, wheels are smooth without being overly rolly if that make sense.

Will do. Tracking says it's at my home now. I plan to go snag him in a few minutes and bring him back to work with me but I won't be getting to Skids until tonight. I can still take some pics of the face, though, and try to confirm if it's better and/or if packaging was messing with the photos we've seen before.

 

I got Overheat in today. He's fiddly, definitely the least fun of the four to handle and transform. Be VERY careful with the shoulder tire rotations. The left shoulder on mine snapped after the first time transforming it. There's a screw holding the joint together from the rear, but it's barely holding on for now. I contacted @ToyDojo about a replacement or part this morning, still waiting to hear back. Overall though, he looks amazing. Great alt and bot modes, fits in with his brothers like a champ. So far this is the only blemish for me on an overall fantastic group set. They look great with FT Motormaster too, can't wait to see what XTB does with their's!

Shout out to Toy Dojo, Eddie and crew always comes through. I think this is a great group and I can't wait to see how Gravestone compares.

 

No tape or plastic over it. Guessing the shot we saw before just wasn't very good. This shot was taken in direct sunlight in my car (about to head back to work) and you can clearly see the mouth as well as the indentation below his lip. Looks great and I'm excited to install it into Skids.

I just ordered Overheat and Deathwish from baba yesterday, guess I'll just have wait a little longer.
