The kicker is people have talked to him IRL and that he KNOWS about this thread and all the people trying to get a hold of him and there is STILL no communication from him. When people are seeing activity or FB on other groups or Twitter ironically complaining about his inquiries not being answered then it just makes things worse. True he doesn't have to post here but if he knows about this stuff going on then why not at least make some sort of statement to put your customers at ease? Post something on the website, make a post on your FB page, send an email out ... it isn't that hard. That is what ultimately drove me to just go through my CC company to get my money back. 3-4 months of trying to get something resolved is well above and beyond.
That's unfortunate you had to get your money back from your credit card company. You'd hope that the retailer would be more responsive to issues.
Orson is a good dude, but man i cant believe he still hasnt posted a reason for this fiasco. I texted him a few weeks ago about picking up a figure as he let me know it was in. That day came and went and i havent heard from him since. I dont know what happened but i feel for all those involved as ive done business with him, and occassionally run into him, but this is just beyond bizarre.
I preordered a year and a half ago, but since the product's only released sometime late last year, I am guessing it's been 7 months now. Anyway, I don't expect to get anything.
Yeah, I've bought for him for almost 8+ years and never had an issue. It just doesn't make sense based on how responsive he used to be. I know we had someone local talk to him in person early in this thread, but if there are any other locals that plan on seeing him and can encourage him to post something to his customers I know that there are a lot in this thread alone that would be appreciative.
Shame I have the loyalty discount but I'm not going to place any future order there until I know he has resolved all of the current issues.
I used to have that loyalty discount as well, but when I went to make a purchase there a year or so ago the discount wouldn't show up. That was the last time I ever tried to purchase anything from there.
Holy shit. All of this *still* hasn’t been resolved? And still “no one” knows what’s going on? Why doesn’t the one or two people “in the know” just post what’s going on? So the few people left lingering, waiting and wanting to know where their shit is; can just finally put their foot down and do something about it. He lost his chance to explain himself. This is really unfortunate, I'm not sure how to proceed. Putting in a cc dispute has not always worked as I lost a ton with the whole PC debacle. I still have confidence that he will make good on everyone's orders.
Very disappointing. I always held Captured Prey in high regard. Now its a total pass. I hope you all get resolution.
Yeah, seems to just be blind optimism. I've seen him reply to posts on facebook that are unrelated to what's going on here. Not sure why he is just ignoring everyone since he's obviously active.

My premium collectables thread was allowed to stay for a long time until it was clear what was happening. Now it's in the seller feedback threads. We just have to keep it civil and informational.
i like these informative threads. it helps me avoid bad sellers, even ones that had excellent reputations at one time. seems like those fall the hardest.
