    This is why I've been grabbing the little buggers when I can. I'm only missing Blowpipe now, but I'm not paying a tenner for it.

    The rest of my drunken Amazon order came through, so that's me done with TF purchases for now. Ironhide is lovely, just a good, solid, no-nonsense figure with great G1 looks and a fun transformation. My girlfriend loves their Starscream and Sideswipe (I dunno why, they just have a soft spot for the trash boys.) Sideswipe is such a great little toy, he's sold me on getting Red Alert.

    I think that's me done until the next wave hits. I'm still on the fence with Shockwave, I'd like him in my collection, but I don't feel like spending leader class money for a voyager and some extras I don't care about.

    Ugh. My right jaw hinge and ear have been aching all afternoon. Slowly getting worse. Hopefully it'll clear by itself later.

    Ditto, I was going to stick to my Shonky, off-model CW custom Red but, nope, gonna have to cave on the ol' paranoiac now!

    @MyTea Boc,
    Glad to help! Hope you have fun with the figures!

    Yesterday afternoon I went to see my niece's end of year presentation for uni which was a short standup routine she'd written. Some of the subject matter took me a little by surprise as she talked about a few things that're really close to home such as losing her Mum when she was 5 but I said to her after that if it helps her deal with things in a more productive way than bottling everything up then it's no bad thing.

    ebay = I learned a valuable lesson after being scammed out of £170 on a Hot Toys Hawkeye pre-order. No more pre-orders after that.

    More recently I sold a 1:6 scale figure which I knew damn well was in as new condition only to receive a message and a picture purporting to show some paint scuffage on the headsculpt in an area that I never even touched when handling it (the face).

    Becoming instantly suspicious I called the guy's bluff and said "If you provide proof of return postage, I'll send the refund once I have the figure back." And this was literally the same day.

    Two weeks passed during which I received no response before I finally discovered my first ever bit of negative feedback claiming I never offered a refund until it was too late etc etc.

    I could probably have appealed that but decided it would have strung things out even more and in the grand scheme of things 1 bit of negative feedback in over 15 years isn't going to do much harm to any future sales so I spent the money and he's stuck with a figure that I'm 100% certain he damaged himself and tried to claim I'd done it as he wrongly anticipated I'd buckle and do the refund without any hesitation.

    Speaking of thievery Rebecca ferret has now decided she likes my old trainers I wear round the house as she keeps dragging one of them under my bed and hiding it behind the other boxes under there, she's a little bugger :D

    @Napalm,
    IF Hound's looking a bit nice isn't he?

    Hot damn indeed.

    A really good Huffer is MFT's one. I'll try and post a pic of him with Jazz, Brawn and Windcharger later.

    For the sake of economy, instead of abandoning him to the parts bin I made one out of the First Aid that donated his combiner core to CW Ironhide, with the Head swapped out from my CHUGswipe who got a swish new Shapeways head.

    Only the head. Hope you can find one, that's a fantastic paint scheme in hand.

    Yeah, I used Henkei for Goldbug, and used the 2007 movie Bee box set re-release for Hubcap (or Bumper... can't remember), nice to have three different alt mode decos to differentiate the characters.

    thanks for thato_O

    He looks marvelous though. I remember missing one on ebay last year that went for around £10 with the beezleboss kit. I'm guessing @Insurgent you've done the same thing

    Slight moment of "Oh, Crap, where did I put his missile?!" as I consider reboxing CW Megs for sale then remembered I'd compacted his box, of course it's still safely in the block of compressed inner packing bubbles!
    Now retrieved ready for the actual box ferreting out.

    Ooh, nice Machine Robo. Is MR09 already out? Haven't seen either of these anywhere yet. Finally caught up from MR01-08 end of last year, but got bugger all display space left. I doubt I'll do the larger range they're planning on, but these nifty deluxe size ones hit a sweet spot for me and are nice and simple for Lu K designs.

    Actually, if you sent all your messages through eBay's messages you can dispute his negative. You offered a refund, he lied, eBay will remove it.

    In other news @waffel's 3D printed Captain America Shield, Mjolnir and PotP Battletrap should cannon arrived today! Well chuffed. I would take pictures... except I sanded down the back of the shield a bit, and then sprayed it silver. You can still see the grain (it's 3D printed after all) but hopefully the shield will have a nice shiny back to it, just like in the films. Anyway, they work amazingly well with Siege toys, and weirdly the figure that works bes (so far)? Hound!

    Soldier boy.

    In other news I picked up Batman vs TMNT on BD today... I must have been tired because I fell asleep watching it, and then again on another attempt. It's strange, the film should tick all my boxes, TMNT references the 80's TV show and original film quite a lot buuut I get the feeling they didn't quite know what to aim for with this film. Batman is all grimdark, and the violence is heavy (it's a 12) but Batman himself feels... light? They should have gone full Brave and Bold Batman with the Nicktoon Turtles, and I reckon it would have been a winner (like the Batman B&tB/Scooby Doo film) but as it is... it falls down somewhat.

    Doesn't help that they keep getting pronunciations of names wrong throughout
    Ras Al Ghul is called Ras and then Rashe, and then Ras, and the Rashe by everyone all through the film.
    Andrea Romano, where are yoooouu!?

    Love MFT Huffer and Pipes, anyone want to sell them on one day let me know and I will gladly take them off you... The glory of POTP Windcharger is tempered for me with the knowledge that he is a rare one personally speaking where the box art head would have rung truer for me than a bloke on a box genero head in an anthropomorphic stylee. Visor shades Windy nails something a little different from the cheery faces for all schtick. DyaxVxCWoAAGjf0.jpg
