Does anyone knows the SS past waves realease dates?
I think it is something like that:
Wave 1 (SS01 to SS08) - may/2018 - 8 figures
Wave 2 (SS10 to SS13) - june/2018 - 4 figures
Wave 3 (SS14 + SS16 to SS18) - ago/2018 - 4 figures
Wave 4 (SS21 to SS23) - nov/2018 - 4 figures
Wave 5 (SS26 to SS30 + SS32 to SS35) - jan/2019 - 9 figures
Wave 6 (SS37 to SS41) - mar/2018 - 5 figures

Some patterns:
There was 4 waves across 2018, with one month of temporal distance between them.
The first wave of each year has more figures than the other sucessive waves.

If we follow these patterns, it means that Wave 7 (SS42 to SS47 - 6 figures) should had come may/2019. But it probably will start coming by july/2019, and I believe that he different classes will not come at the same time.
My question is: we do know, by @lonewolf96 reports, how the first wave of 2020 will be: 2 leaders, 2 voyagers (+ 1 exclusive) and 4 deluxes. It matches the pattern of the first wave of each year. But, between now and 2020, there still 6 months to go. It is enough time to one or even two waves be released after Wave 7. Hasbro will really give us only the 6 figures of the Wave 7 scattered between now and the next year?

That's nostalgic. That's how I used to paint gundam panel lines before I discovered these.

I agree with everyone that is saying that knight prime doesn't look transformery enough, even though he is awesome.

However I will say that the head design for knight prime is just much better than the original IMO. The face is more clearly defined, the nose isn't so long and prominent, and his lips don't look like they're coming out of his chin anymore. Also the "eyelids" aren't so intrusive. Peterbilt prime's head is much harder to get to look right in toy form too. Even the 3A figure has a weird face. However knight Prime's head and face translate very well to plastic and just looks better in general.

Hahaha agreed! Can't wait to get that weird-ass motherfucker. I wish we had seen him onscreen in robot mode.

She is coming along nicely trough, the chrome on bumpers, airscoop and sidepipes makes the car look so much better already! I will look into the wingmod tonight. I have a little breather between projects so.. project time?

 

Well the way I see it is that if I don't own it, then it doesn't really count lol.

By all accounts there was 4 deluxe waves and 4 voyager waves leaked for this year. But it seems the plans changed with wave 5 and wave 7 taking the extra deluxe that would have made up " Deluxe wave 8 " same goes for voyager and the desision to release ksi boss and Longhaul together when 1 would be normally saved for " wave 8 "

To answer your question is 1 more wave possible before the first wave of 2020 / wave 9.

Yes but we haven't heard anything yet other than a voyager wave 8 case is a repack of both rampage and Bonecrusher So given that " wave 8 " will probably be all reissues and released around September. With wave 9 following in December / January

 

Personally, I think the headsculpt on SS-05 is nigh-on perfect. They even managed to get the reading glasses look in there.

If you're talking about his unmasked face, then yeah that is difficult to get right.

 

Well, it is just the chrome drying at the moment so there isn't that much to see.. But if you insist..

Normally I wouldn't give into high priced studio series figure for early access. But in long haul's case, I may make an exception.

Yeah mostly the unmasked face. Even MPM4’s face doesn’t look very good. But in general it’s just not as appealing as the knight prime head/face to me. I think they really refined and cleaned up that part of the design.
