Maybe once in my damn life will I not have the guilt to paint the pilot. Felt like I was painting bloody Epic 40k for this one.

I’m hesitant on getting the P-Bandai Maganacs. I want them, and Canadian Gundam has them on preorder, but they’re expensive and I’m gonna wait and make sure I like the base Maganac first. I’d be more inclined if they hadn’t cheaped out and just included the second body in the set so you didn’t have to buy two spare Mags.
Finished building Dynames head, arms, and waist... gotta say the shoulders are really tight, almost scarily so. I get that they'l have to hold up the weight of the GN Sniper rifle and GN Full Shield, but jeez! Also I pulled out the old MG Exia... and the ankles ar not as crappy as I recall, it's the mid-foot bend that's utter ass.
Understandable. I actually thought that Bandai would play super dirty and just make four separate kits. So this is better than I thought they would do. I actually found a second one today after work. I love the Leo but the polycap where the hip joins the thigh makes it a bit unstable. Maganac doesn't have that problem. Both Maganacs and my fave Leo config...

One of the better releases from the last years. Grunt suits are underrated. Gundams are getting so boring. I hope after wing they will turn their attention to seed, i need a mdorn CGUE and GINN.
I'd love to have a new HGUC Dom and variant, myself. I hope that with The Origin effectively being a Zeonic MS showcase that once the OYW saga actually gets going in The Origin that we'll get an actual Dom.
I keep referring to the R35 being the template for a new HG Dom.. Bandai just has been dragging their heels on it.
I really don't see how, it's made according to the REVIVE standard but all of the parts for the original Dom are labeled on the runner as "HG DOM" .. so, what's Bandai's hold up besides how they can make a P.Bandai fortune from it...
I would not be surprised if they used the engineering from the Origin Dom Test Type. That figure is excellent - a revive Dom would need to be all new but similar joint arrangement would be enough. Oh come on, that's easy - the Dwadage and Dwadage Reformation from ZZ.
I really don't agree. It's flimsy and hollow feeling, and the articulation is limited. It doesn't feel like a Revive like the Gundam or Gouf, I honestly first thought it was a retool of the original HGUC Dom.
Shrug.. We'll just wait and see if anything comes from it in the next few years. Meanwhile!! At the Storage Outpost (aka the house still under renovation on the homestead) ... YES!!! I knew I wasn't that stupid to throw parts away. ... this week.
I'll agree with Split here. Dom R35 is nice but the engineering for the Proto-Dom has it beat. Despite the redesigns I wouldn't mind if we got all of our traditional Zeon grunt suits in Origin engineering. Hell, we already got accurate Dom feet with the RD4 Zaku and the Proto-Dom head isn't too far off either.
It's funny given the R35 Dom is supposed to be a model made FROM the old HGUC, so maybe Bandai did too good a job there... It pains me we still dont have the Thunderbolt Gouf Flight Type. Or a Thunderbolt Guntank because that thing was friggin badass and seemed to take inspiration from the Hildofr of all things is appearance. One of those hybrid Not-GMs the monks piloted (and got totally steamrolled by the Acguys) would be awesome as well. Hell, the command Acguy that Daryl piloted with the heat vision goggles and unique arm weapons needs to be a kit as well. Enough of the beargguys for five minutes, give us a new use of the mold that isnt a lethal joke character.
