Is that why they all have the packs from the game? Did the Blitzway figures use the GB09 pack designs or was that just an artistic license?

I-it's not. It's very clearly Ectotron; notice the head and shoulders. $10 says the second half of the sentence in panel 4 is "...is right behind you."

Loving these new series. The new Transformers run has been great as well and looking forward to 1984 (i think its a one shot or mini series).

 

Where\'s the sneak peak?  All I see is a picture of Starscream.

are you sure you're not thinking of the voices of Frank Welker, Maurice LaMarche, Arsenio Hall and Lorenzo Music? You've probably heard those more often than you realise

 

Jeez even this cover is looking sorta underwhelming. I dont know, the more i see of the inside of this comic the less excited i get. Ive said all this before but none of the characters have any... Character? Stances look gaunt, stock, and uncomfortable, faces arent expressive, the whole thing just feels rushed. If this is what the art is looking like im worried for the writing. A little longer in the proverbial comic oven would be just what this needs. Maybe I'm being a hardass because two of my favorite properties are being celebrated together and I just wish more effort was put in.

 

Damn, That cover looks so cool. I can practically imagine an entire fight scene in my head.
