That's my normal neighborhood Target for groceries and stuff, so I have had to bring it to the desk three times now and it just keeps getting put back. Looking forward to number four.

Has anyone tried Reflector Prime’s method of scanning Shockwave instead?

Obviously that method works because Shockwave has been available for months and scans with the correct leader price in their system, the only question is if a Target employee is going to question why you're scanning one toy at self checkout and leaving it there instead of scanning the toy you are bagging and taking with. Purely situational if it works or not, you're just bypassing the system saying they can't sell GF prime. Technically you'd be paying the correct price for the toy, so if it works or not is up to you and the employees working at the time.

Found Warpath and Gears at Collinsville Walmart.

Also found a Cyberverse Shockwave in a Siege Shockwave box.

Unless they grab you on your way out because they saw it on their cameras, like what happened to me at Walmart a few years ago when the Absorbing Man Marvel Legends wave wouldn't scan. This trick isn't worth the gamble of sitting in their AP office for an hour while they sort out what you did and figure out whether or not to let you go.

Exactly my point, it works, but it all depends on how diligent the employees who are working want to be. In your case you got boned. There's really not a whole lot to this scenario, you either get the toy or you don't, they find what you are doing suspicious or they don't. Maybe good advice for everyone is to try wearing a tie or suit when doing this kind of thing...

Scan one and put the other in the bag, tell the employee at the self checkout you don’t want the other. They will take it and set it aside and no questions will be asked.
I’ve done this many times and have never had an issue. They don’t really care when they see the same type/size/style boxes being rung up.

Well I know it works on the scanner but I meant more of walking up to customer service and say, "These 2 come packed together. This one scans, this one doesn't" and ask if they are willing to scan the Shockwave but let you purchase Prime. It just perplexes me that it seems to be a store by store issue.

I agree its not work doing it at self checkout. Its not worth the risk and hassle.

So are you now banned from Walmart?

spend the $7 for shipping and just buy the damn thing online....tax eats about 3/4 of the shipping cost anyway so what is the deal?

leave the one at target to collect dust. no problems with security or law enforcement. ezpz delivered to your door!

It’s a shame we can’t advertise deals on this thread anymore or everyone could get this toy legally and for less than retail! Shame

Just wondering is anyone interested in this ROTF display? It was a Toys R Us display and I believe there's Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Bumblebee, and maybe some others. I grabbed them because they were cool but they've just been sitting in my basement.

Hahahaha no, they decided it was just a misunderstanding and they eventually just let me go with the things I was trying to buy in the first place. Still wasn't a fun experience and it definitely turned me off going to that particular location.

I'd loved to be back hunting in Chicago and the burbs. It kinda sucks down here looking for figures in Mississippi .

Galaxy Prime at the West Loop Target. I checked and it does scan. I reshelved it by the Rescue Bots for some lucky soul.

So Meijer (at least in blono) was discounting several transformers. Ss dropkick was discounted to $5 (not all ss deluxes cuz shatter, cogman, and scrap metal weren’t), bumblebee energon igniters went to $2.50, and the bumblebee legion sized figures went to $1.50.
