Jist transform it. You'll bever know for sure. My gigasaurs are fine after few transformation. Some members here their figure is also fine after transformation. Jist makesure you align everything properly during transformation. Like the bot head is straight before you peg it in to the beak.

 

I will take care during transformation. But some chips aren’t cannot be avoided. Maybe that’s the price of this great looking paint they use. But on the other hand. My Graviter has paint chips right out of the box on pieces which were never touched during transport and unboxing.

 

Sorry to say that... but the second release is always slightly improved.

So... chrome Guttur V1 was better then metallic Guttur v1.
But then they swithched the order and the metallic ones are generally better than the chrome ones.

In the end, the overall QC is still one of the best among 3p.
They are covered in paint and the paint is top notch... but the cherry red. Maybe they should have used a regular metallic paint. That red is terrific, but fragile.

I've noticed an uptick in "required out of the box fixes" from all 3P companies recently as well. Bad QC? Rushed production? Who knows, but it is happening.

@FiVE1ZERO I was reading your post about the thumb then saw the pic of the exploded Guttur and thought, "you had to take him that far apart for a thumb???", guess I'm more tired than I thought I was, lol.

It's seriously sucked A$$ for Gutters hips but in an odd way it was relaxing to see how he was built. It was a stack after stack after stack type of deal. Let's hope I don't have to do that for Swoop lol jk.

 

So got my metallic w/blue chest version and right out the box, the beak is scratched on both sides. When I folded it down, it happened to be right with where it sits inside the chest.

Is this a transforming issue or was this because it was vibrating in the box during travels to me? I believe its the latter. I just hope now I don't have the thumb issue because I better check tonight before my seller gets too far with Giga on the beak.

 

That's a really good idea. It's even better than surgery, because it can be removed if replacement parts are ever sent from GP. Speaking of which - has anyone else had luck with a reply from GP regarding the replacement feet waiting list for the chrome versions? I tried contacting them via facebook messenger as someone suggested on this thread a few weeks ago, but I never got a response. Hell, even if it takes a year I'd like to know that they can get the parts to me. This guy will NOT survive a shelf dive.

 

Replacement head and feet kits for HQ-05R will be included with HQ-01R (according to Show.Z)...

 

Here’s my solution, at least until replacement parts arrive. These are those adhesive rubber bumpers for cabinet doors/picture frames.

So I finally got mine in the mail today and sort of sad. My right wing when looking straight at him (Swoops left wing) is way too lose at the joint where it connects to the body. I mean it is so lose it won’t hold any pose at all and just slinks down to his side in Dino mode. I’m thinking of getting and trying some clear nail polish tomorrow but seeing as it’s a weird joint, Not sure how it’ll work.

This happened to anyone else or anyone have any thoughts as it’s killing the display of this amazing piece?

Just opened my blue metallic figure. Anyone else having issues with the torso side not springing out? I have one side that sticks and one that keeps popping up. Any thoughts/fixes?

 

I love my Fans Toys Soar. In fact I have two of him, one red and one blue. And I have virtually nothing negative to say about them or any of the other Fans Toys MP-style Dinobot releases (including Perfect Fusion). I got Giga's MP-style Swoop yesterday evening in the mail and opened him up this morning. And all I can say is Goga's blows the Fans Toys Soar out of the sky. That shiny metallic red chest, the brilliant chrome wings, the gun metal gray, and all that wonderful detail accented with clean, crisp paint apps makes this guy simply amazing to me. I like the transformation, he feels hefty and is made of great quality materials. Sturdy, stable, and is exploding with character and presence. I adore this one and he's going to look great with the other Giga's I have. I am so glad I took the plunge with the Gigasaurs even though I had the Fans Toys.

I was kind of surprised that I did not get the spot lights with mine. TCP has pictures of the chrome version coming with the little LED spotlights, so I was kind of surprised to not see them in the box. He does come with the stand and flight arm. I'm okay with not having the lights, but I would prefer more accurate pictures and description of exactly what I am getting. Otherwise, TCP is to me a top-notch online store and I highly recommend them.

@Sportimus if I remember correctly the second run does not have the spotlight or remote, and I think most places are shipping the second run. I think the spotlight and remote were first run specials.
