It started with a little paint here and there and has turned into a thing. I decided to customize my Last Knight Optimus Prime. He was sitting in a box and collecting dust (if you can believe it, I know I can as he is not great...) and then... AND THEN... Studio Series dropped. Now I am in need of him. But how paint job was something to be desired. So I set to work. Then he had to many extra truck bits. Then he needed more paint. Next thing you know I’ve sunk an whole workday into him. Guess it’s time to post something.

I can now say... I proudly present My Custom Last Knight Optimus Prime.

I got some touch up to do and some fibers to remove. Don’t look at the close up of the face to long. The holes in the eyeball paint are nightmare fuel IMO. As well I gotta figure out what I am going to do for the back of the legs. I like the rounded look in the high end models, and what Movie BB is rocking. So we’ll see on that.

Also could transform if I put his parts back on but I have zero intention to do that.

    Cheers!

    Constructive criticism appreciated!

Damn this looks nice! Only thing that could make it better is to add some flames to the chest, shoulder and shins. This really makes me wanna get this figure for myself.

Looks amazing! Maybe some panel lining on the metal areas will make it better?

I did it on his torso, so maybe the rest of it. I had to cover some of it over because it went a little crazy bleeding into other areas.
