Dang it... I'm torn on this PO date. Don't know if I can really sacrifice the sleep for this. I won't consider the DX Hikaru, but Dairuger has me thinking if I stay for that, might as well try the crap shoot and try the DX after all... Unfortunately, sleep is important for me and my job, as I have to be very alert and active. Why I hate these limited productions from Bandai.
The funniest thing is these are regular "wide release" products from Bandai. The Super/Strike Parts are the "Limited Exclusives" and you will be able to order those stress free for months.
Those are pretty much it. Oh and don't forget Amazon Japan, they're pretty reliable as long as they ship to you Somewhere in this thread, I believe someone stated nin-nin has a habit of not fulfilling preorders. Or something along those lines. If anyone does purchase from nin-nin, buyer beware.
Oh, I couldn’t agree more. They’ve screwed me twice by randomly canceling orders I had already paid for. I won’t order from them out of principle. I’d pay the NY day-two markup before them. Just noting the listing. Those are all great places to start. If you don’t land those then go from there. You’ll only have 30 seconds on each one before they each sell out. Literally. So you’ll want to prioritize based on preference and listing time.
Ditto on nin-nin. It doesn't hurt to try to place an order with them because in the case that they do deliver, you should be ok. Just be ready to have to bring up a dispute with your CC company and/or Paypal if they don't deliver though. For me, I'd rather not bother with them and take a chance of not getting an item. There is also Hobby Search but at this point, I think being able to secure an order there is just a myth. The item goes from prelisted to sold out in a blink of an eye every time I've tried to use them.
When Max's 1A went up on Ami Ami, it was up for a good while. I foolishly waited for NY, CDJ and AJ...only to get cartjacked or the preorder went up when I gave up and went to bed. From now on...I don't care. A few dollars difference is not going to deter me. If I see that shit on ami ami...I'm preordering it! I don't care where it shows up first! I ain't waiting this time!
amaiami's site is so fucked up though. It crashes everytime I try to get something on preorder night and even if it shows as available, I wouldn't count on it until you get through the entire order process and get the confirmation. But, because their site is so fucked up, I think it goes from open to closed several times so if you just keep trying over and over, you have a good chance of getting one there. The initial rush crashes their site and usually, about 10 mins later and people ease up on them, items will reopen.
Yeah, but still...I had one in the cart....I was about to check out. Their site didn't crash on me that night (hopefully it won't this weekend). I really feel I could have gotten an order in. But no, I waited. That's all my fault though. This time around, I'm not waiting. That's all I'm saying.

You're welcome. Are you Filipino? Is that mall in Green Hills? Haven't been to that mall(I think). I was in the homeland last year but didn't look into the collector shops. Are the Macross prices hiked up pretty high in the mall? No but it doesn't necessarily mean they'll be able to secure a unit per preorder
Look at the link , it’s just a place holder , they didn’t break anything. Instead of “add to cart “it says “soon” The official preorder start time is also just a suggestion, most stores follow but some stores do open a bit early from time to time .
