Amazing that whole invasion of Winterfell got forgotten by the Greyjoys.

Unfortunately, a lot of things were conveniently forgotten for the sake of expediency. So much for the saying, "The North remembers." :D

Oh man, 2:03 is the EXACT moment I fell in love with this show. Tywin was my favorite character. That looks he gives and everyone's silent expression speaks volumes of his power.

Season three was the best season, in my opinion. Just magnificent.

That was hilarious, even Cersei gave him that look. I think alot of that magic was gone in the final 2 seasons. Charles Dance was made to play Tywin and Tyrion was still Tyrion. Maybe that's when I knew it was starting to fall off later on ,Tyrion and Cersei had become caricatures, reducing the impact of probably the best actors left and we're carried by other characters who no knock against them are much weaker actors.

Just about everything pre season 7 makes the ending worse. They literally made me start to dislke characters I like, not for what they did, but what they didn't do. The stuff with Tyrion and John Snow are pretty tough to watch knowing how they finished up their characters. We go from this Snow to "Muh Queen", Snow.

For the most part, I'm pretty ambivalent about the last season. No disappointed, not satisfied. Did I enjoy the season? Yeah, for the most part. Did I feel let down by the ending? No, not really, though the whole Jon is a Targaryn thing was just completely and utterly pointless. Will I miss the show? Sure. Will I check out the spin-offs? Most likely.

Well John coming back meant nothing. John doesn't come back and Dany takes kings landing and keeps her 3 dragons. The NK no longer has a dragon to destroy the wall and flood through. Sam still knows about dragonglass and whoever runs the north, Ramsey or otherwise likely turns to the Queen for help. They would have had to come together by default at some point due to WW or wildling invasion.

After reading how much money is directly allocable to GoT for HBO, I can't imagine they could even consider not doing a sequel series with the existing actors. My guess is we will see a new sequel within 3-5 years focused on Jon Snow again.

Generally agree. I'd say I am disappointed, but I'm not in full fan rage mode like lots of other folks.

I was thinking about that too. It was implied that the Lord of Light brought him back because he would be instrumental in the defeat of the Night King. Which didn't seem to be the case.

That's if the actors want to do it. And I think it also depends on how the prequels do. If they do well then I think HBO will just stick with them, because then they don't have to pay known actors a crap ton of money.

George's stance has been it ends where it ends, but there's tons of potential from the time before GoT. According to him in a recent interview, there's two prequels currently in actual development, and loose plot concepts for up to FIVE MORE PREQUELS.

It's gonna be a tough sell to get an audience to tune in when we know it all "ends" the way that last season wrapped.

John coming back to claim the throne or rulership? Prophecy and foreshadowing actually meaning something. Bran being a worse threat than the Nightking. Its kind of hard because the pooch has been screwed so to speak, but I think anything that make season 7/8 atleast passable would get watched.

Everyone always says "it ends" and "I'm done with this or that role".....until they're out of work or see the dollar signs. Money drives all trains.

Looks like it's supposed to be an Arya spinoff.

Which would be a sequel not a prequel.

Unless it's a sequel to the prequel which would make it an equal. I think. :sly:
