Interesting. Wonder if the aftercare support experience is different between kfc and xtb.

Ahhh, thanks, surprised to hear that but good to know.

My Ditka didn’t come with the replacement parts, so hopefully it is the new version and already has the parts installed. Mine stands just fine but it still leans backward a little bit. Can anybody tell me how do you know if it has the replacement parts installed already. Does it still lean backward with the new parts? Thank you for your help.

Now the rep is asking me for my phone number. I'm not comfortable with this. Just send me the goddamn part!

    What's going on, ibot?

That should mean she’s sending you the part and adding the phone number on the shipping label. IIRC, that’s what happened to me.

Just give them the Post office phone number. Some country have that on a shipping bill .
I got mine on my first run from XTB no problem.
Mine was fine before but installing the new knee joints made it more solid. Less play in the knees for sure.
The hips have some play in them too, but it doesn't effect it; nothing serious though. I put some floor polish on those hip joints (not to affect the ratchet) to just make him rock solid.
If you don't have play in the hips, then you already have the new rachets joints.
It really is a top notch figure.

Can you elaborate more on have play in the hips? I still don’t know how to check whether or not my Ditka has the new replacement part or not, thank you!

I would have to agree and say go ahead and give it. Some international places require it by law. Also they wouldn’t want to be known as a harassing company so sure they wouldn’t do anything with it.

I don't recall any changes in hip joints? Just new knees and ankles. What new hip thing are you talking about?

Never mine about the hip, do you know how to tell if Ditka has already has the new knee and ankle parts installed? Mine didn’t come with the new knee and ankle parts so I am not sure if mine has the new knee parts or not. Thank you.

Are the knees floppy? Like, not collapse floppy but like a lot of play (wiggle) between ratchet clicks floppy. Wait, does he have ratchets in his knees? I can't remember. Either way, the original knees wouldn't just buckle but they'd freely wiggle a couple of degrees before catching.

In that case, if you don't want to give them your number, pass mine along! It's 876-5309! If Jenny answers, tell her to give the damn phone to me!

I would not say floppy, but it is not very sturdy either. When standstill it does lean backward a little. With the new knee, does it lean backward too?

I like how you engineered the feet. Never thought to do that. I’ve always just folded it all out. Right now the friction is strong, but good to know over time that’s an option. Thanks!

Got these guys in from baba today. Ditka's knees and ankles were good out of the box. Very happy with all of these guys. 20190606_210657.jpg

After insisting that I paid for my replacement part and sending screen shots of my PayPal transaction with them, I finally got my part. They sent me the entire leg minus the small wing. Anyone know how to get that pin out without breaking it? Now I can finally (hopefully) install the new parts into the replacement leg and he can stand up with some dignity. I do find it strange that the replacement leg also has the old weaker knee and ankle joints?

I wouldn't bother trying to get that pin out. I'd just take apart the new leg and transfer whatever parts you need from it to your old leg. Removing flat head pins in a pain and you'd almost certainly scratch some paint in the process.
