Just counting down the days...... Convoy 3.0 is going to be flat-out amazing, but I'm surprised it's this controversial... Whether its price, design, or the abundance of alternatives, people are up in arms over this figure.

 

After having MP-36, I have no doubts MP44 will be even better.

 

I'd wonder if TT would consider just Prime with his axe and gun ............... man where in the world am i going to save his trailer and stuff.....

 

You can always sell his trailer and stuff... considering his repaints will likely not have one.

That's true....can always do that, for me only Prime is needed for the shelf space i'll give him with Megs....the trailer will never see the light of day so to speak....

The backpack is the only part I hate about this whole thing, and it had to be big all because of a voice gimmick. An option to uninstall the soundbox and have the backpack compress would have been great

 

Well.. maybe there can be a way to detatch his gaint backpack...but he will have to be in bot mode pemanently.

 

I'm fine with the bed, but whats with the roof, how come we can't even get a perfect cab, even if the bed is a bit bumpy; though, I have an idea for a third party add-on kit, imagine taking out the section highlighted in green, and replacing it with folded up panels that can then fold out onto the bed and cover it up a bit; otherwise, I "LOVE" the engineering of this figure.

 

It should be fine when it’s a proper production model not early sample.

My theory on it was that it makes the backpack look more complete. Instead of having a big gap in it. Cause think about it, the chest has little too anything in common with the truck cab. So there must be a bunch of it folded up on the back.

Speaking of MP-45... Maybe that's the backpack's secret? It can hide a complete mp-45, the size sure seems about right. :B

It seems to me that the did small adjustments to the entire face.. Now it is looking less "evil" like in the movie and more "optimus prime" like in the season 2.
