Bottom half is done. Top half is still being worked on, still rocking early proto chest minus 90% detailing and a few colour corrections. Oh I got my missing part for Slingshot recently too so result!

Picarts has some awesome filters that legit look like paintings.

Just completed my flock. Now looking for the upgraded parts that may be available in this thread.  

 

Look good but I can't justify the prices for a combiner set I'll leave in combined mode virtually all the time. Zeta are not as nice/accurate but combined they do the job well enough for me as they make a fairly G1 looking Superion.

Zeta Bruticus however, I just might replace IF something better surfaces. They are just TOO far off G1 toy AND toon, cheaper or not.

 

Not much more I can make for Zeta Superion to make it more like the lineart ......except...hmmm...(brings out calipers)...

Finally got my silver arrow. Just need the other two limbs. Think I'll get the leg guy first.

Just needs some paint apps, especially the inner rectangle on the legs. I think the blue would really make it pop.

The black in the shoulders makes a huge difference too. Just need to find an off white to spray the final chest plate once it's finished printing. Ironically it's seeing Fanstoys painting their limb bots canopies to convince me to do the same too although I need a lighter silver on Firegflight and Air Raid instead of that more muted grey. The correct detailing on the final chest should make a nice difference to finish off and I can stop tinkering and put him back in the collection  

Edit - actually looking at the cartoon cell you posted the chest should be more a light grey. Not sure how that'll look in 3d on the shelf but worth a crack to see.

 

I've a few people asking me for these so they will be sold. I just need to crunch some numbers first.

Oh those parts will be blue. Waiting on my blue filament to arrive to reprint those two pieces.

 

Do the 3d printed pieces count as additional parts-forming.

 

Wonder if Bondo can be used on the 3D printed parts then sanded to get rid of the print lines?

Depending on printer you can get some seriously smooth prints. Some printers have an ironing setting too which minimises the lines. Printing at the finest setting also helps, it just adds to print time.
