yeah all the aew stuff is pretty much in create hype/buzz mode right now. they have the tv deal already, they just need to garner interest in the product over the summer.

ambrose wont be the only big name to come. I would expect a couple more huge bombshells to go off and have people excited for the product this summer, before the show goes live in the fall.

200k buys for Double or Nothing. At $50 a piece, thats 10 Million.

Im not sure what percentage goes to the PPV providers, investors, etc...so AEW likely made A LOT less than 10 Mil. But either way, those are fantastic numbers.

Edit: Went to get a link and WhatCulture removed their article. The text of their article was copied on other sites, though.

Regarding the young bucks very Lucha bros ( I dont think it's their name)...the match was amazing and all but I kinda felt it was a little too long? There was a lot of impressive crazy spots....they were so amazing that I was surprised some of them Didnt end the match.....so I though maybe this is....not right? I mean granted in WWE ( I only watch wwe) we dont see crazy matches like these in the main roster but when we see impressive spots...they feel special ..... I won't be as impressed as I'm right now we i watch another tag team match in AEW because these impressive spots aren't meant to be so special.....what do u guys think ?

At DoN Jack Whitehall was in a wrestling ring and didn't take a nasty stiff bump. What a waste. From the highlights DoN seemed an exciting show, and an invested in the product JR really added some magic to the commentary.

Kenny, Cody, the Bucks, Jericho and Page are a good base to build a promotion on, and Moxley, who'll also be appearing in NJPW is a great addition.

The Young Bucks and lucha wrestlers in general both have fast paced and often spot heavy styles of wrestling, so put both of those things in the same match and add the fact that it's an important show and you're going to get something thats bananas. It's not the sort of thing your going to be seeing with all performers or in all matches.

Main roster WWE isn't a particularly good benchmark for wrestling as they have a very formulaic and safe house style that they want people to adhere to that ends up removing allot of the variety in the performers. If you watch NXT as well as Raw/SD, you will have seen the difference in how the same people work there compared to how they work when they are called up to Vince's shows.

    *facepalm*

Why did they keep mentioning it as an elimination match if they were going to do that? All they had to do was keep it as a regular fatal four-way....there would be no issue.

It's like I'm watching WCW in its last year again...

Of course, WWE spit in the face of America by giving Corbin another title shot.

5 matches, assuming you count the Shane segment.
And the Fatal 4-Way Elimination match that they kept pushing as both elimination and no count-out/No DQ ended after a single pinfall because 2 of the participants started fighting through the crowd and wandered off.
Words fail me. It reminds me of the Falls Count Anywhere match in WCW that ended in a count out.

I feel like I'm going to regret this but...
    Nazi?

I'm guessing because Corbin looks like a stereotypical skinhead.

    Sooooo....
WWE's response to their biggest competition in 2 decades is to book the boss's non-wrestler son in a boring, interminable segment against a jobber, and then give ratings drain Baron Corbin a title shot?

But, more of Ricochet vs Cesaro please. That was some cool stuff. Crowd didn't react all that much to it because by that point they were already bored out of their minds.

Watching raw and I feel like this is the most engaged Lesnar has has been for awhile. The segment with him learning the terms of the contract was kinda entertaining

I think Heymans response summed the whole thing up perfectly:
"HOW DID YOU NOT KNOW THAT??"
Are they actually implying that Lesnar has been around for like 15 years off and on and he doesn't know how Money in the Bank works? I understand he might have never won it but for Primus's sake they explain it roughly 5 or 6 times EVERY DAMN SHOW....

Well, in the past Lesnar has said on air that he doesn't watch the show. So he wouldn't have heard Maggle explaining the premise twice every segment.

I think that’s the idea. He had no clue about the 1-year clause because usually when someone wins MITB he’s usually never around and by the time he does show up it’s already been cashed in.
