Seems so to me, looks like it might play well with orange as it seems to have a touch in it being that tad brighter.

In other news, I sold an old laptop on ebay, Parcelforce damaged it (screen broke) and they refuse to refund anything. eBay already gave the money back to the buyer, so I lost twice...

On a £200+ toy I expect ankles to be capable of holding a figure up instead of deciding to go whilst stood on a high shelf so said figure falls multiple times chipping the already easily damaged paintwork

Urgh! Sympathy doesn't even cover it, mate. I feel for you! It's a goddamn travesty of toy collecting that Takara seem to have decided to tell Soul of Chogokin to hold their beer when it comes to collectables with vast in-built obsolescence/ridiculous fragility. You shouldn't be charged so much for a friggin' lottery entry that *might* see you have an item vastly appreciated in value but only if yours isn't one that spontaneously destroys itself! ARGH!

 

OK, so I should be working, but instead I'm doing a 3D comic image instead...  

Anyway, on Twitter there was a thread asking what your first X-Men comic was, and for me it was Uncanny X-Men #277, which has the most amazing opening splash page.



I pasted it into the thread and thought, damn! I wonder what that would look like in 3D... Well wonder no more!


Course you need those crazy red/cyan 3D glasses for it to work, so if you don't have a pair of those have a wiggle gif instead.



The 3D effect is actually very toned down from what I did previously... I suppose more people can appreciate it (as opposed to giving a headache) but to me? Seems kinda flat.

Oh! And in actual Robit news I (finally) opened Siege Soundwave! Robot mode is great. Alt mode... uh... is... kinda shit?

But then I realised that the two back things were misassembled left to right, so I popped them off and put them back the right way! And guess what? The alt mode was still shit!

Oh well. At least you can get a decent lamp post out of him. I'll be able to open Laserbeak/Chonky in a few days too.

First round of chroming done on the Final Victory Mighty Warriors! Chromed Huffer’s arms, hands and wing mirrors and Brawn’s forearms, hands and hat, but I need to finish off elbow joints and wrists once I refill my fine line Molotow pen, paint Huffer’s chest and glue Brawn’s windows down before they’re all finished.




I also managed to sell more comics on eBay and raised enough to buy ST Commander! There’s no way I was going to let him slip by for £85  

 

Turns out the new "do a bit, then put it down and come back later" customising technique seems to be paying off, pacing prevents burnout!

Hey! Another Monte Carlo Grand Prix Victory for the 5 time world Champion Lewis Hamlton! Sainz scored a 6th for Mclaren this time, and Mclaren is right behind Red Bull in the Constructors Standings. Great fight between Hamilton and Verstappen on the closing laps, but Verstappen was the driver of the day for me.

 

Listening to the Avengers: Endgame soundtrack keeps making me burst into manly tears. My phone is a loaded gun for my feels right now.

Don’t let them get away with it. Find out why they’re refusing to pay, be polite in emails & ask for facts. Keep copies of any correspondence too. Ask the buyer for details of the damage, pictures of the delivery box (if possible). If you provided suitable protection, declared the contents honestly & paid the correct cover then they are liable. Contact the Citizens Advice Bureau. You could even make a courts claim against them.

Don’t just walk away from it though.

I’ve just read that laptops are excluded for their compensation. There may still be options open to you though.

 

Tidying the toy room tonight and found a few weapons I forgot I had and nearly bought again, nice that I didn't waste money for once, means Stranglehold and Repugnus are complete.
