So this is why Soundwave and his pets are so hard to find.

A handful of g1 characters repainted into either themselves or other G1 characters and Barricade. As far as anniversary celebrations go this is pretty lame.

This may not be the "celebration."

Promo mailers have been around for a while.

At least the art is nice.

I certianly hope that's not it. But the art's always nice and we're at the end of may, unless Hasbro bunching most of it into the second half of the year I can't see there being much more to excite me. Especially with Hasbro's current feelings on post G1.

Also that sig is a thing of beauty.

Is Hasbro trying to kill their own line.... I am just confused only to influencers ah okay so if you promote our stuff here is it for free, but if your honest about it and say anything bad no box for you. Then there is the rest of us that have to pay more now then previous years to get smaller figures. My buying days are limited I am buying less of siege then I have since 2006....

The “smaller figures” only significantly pertains to leaders, deluxes and voyagers are still roughly in line with 06 and on overall. Deluxes and voyagers that are significantly larger than siege as a whole are aberrations and not indicative of the norm

Ya the Leaders for sure Titans have taken a dip with Trypticon I do expect Omega will be as tall but not Fortress Maximus or Metroplex tall. Deluxes where shorter then Ironhide is just taller so it is a hit and miss. Voyagers where slightly beefier they more have taken a drop in size in Titans Return. It's a mix bag of feelings for me the price is higher the figures are not as good with so many QC issues compared first Chug figures. Granted it's not just Hasbro that has had the woops, Takara Tomy has been having it's share too Big Powered, MP BW Megatron, Unite Warriors Menasor(GPS like plastic) I am getting a few very few I think BBTS is going to call me and see if i am alright with how few preorders I have... Not to mention that paint and why would they paint that garbage over paint apps why i hate it. Jetfire i am still on the fence with more towards no for now, Omega I plan to get already made space for him.

here is just a sample of comparisons with older figures, sometimes the same character. siege figures are larger than some of their older counterparts (prime and 06 classics, ironhide), some are shorter (universe sideswipe was a large deluxe, even in the universe line), but most of the siege figures are not significantly smaller, in fact at least most of the decepticons are larger thanks to being bumped from legends or deluxe to voyager.

also titan size has been variable ever since the first titan was introduced. for titans, its not about size its about engineering. trypticon may be shorter than metroplex, but he has about the same mass and omega is expected to be roughly titan devastator sized

I love how Barricade is a mainstay among the Decepticons.

Ya Flywheels was a left over from POTP, Classics Prime (he is still bulkier then the siege) was always too short especially compared to Megatron. Chromia if you compare to her mold mates she is shorter and they took extra steps to make sure she was so that dose show a deliberate attempt to scale down the deluxes. Like grab a thrilling 30's voyager and see how they compare. Some are okay thou teh scale dose vary and the added paint dose make a fill in your collection abit annoying to deal with. Perhaps Hasbro is looking to rescale up the deluxes again but the smaller leaders do annoy me.

it doesnt matter how you try to qualify it, the fact is that there are some voyagers that siege voyagers scale with and the same for the deluxes. its not like every deluxe and voyager has been larger than siege figures, for the most part they scale fairly well. also, flywheels was developed alongside battletrap but that doesnt mean he was a potp leftover. he cant be sold as two legends figures the way battle slash and road trap were so it stands to reason that early in his development they decided they wouldnt be released in the same line. and your argument about thrilling 30 voyagers, while kind of true (whirl looks good with siege and im sure some others do too, plus brainstorm was always out of scale anyway), try grabbing some of the thrilling 30 deluxes. trailcutter/hoist is right in line with siege deluxes as is the foc seeker mold and the armada starscream along with a few others

    Autobot art is fine.
Megatron\'s face is a crime against humanity.
Soundwave has a visor that only looks like shades because of his faceplate, not whatever this art is.
    Shockwave is a bit.... busy.
If Barricade is now a mainstay then give me all the cop cars you want!
