Found this guy at a local hobby shop yesterday. The Kimaris (and all of its variants) was my favorite Gundam from IBO, so there was no way I could pass it up. Also been trying some weathering on the Jagd Doga. I was trying not to go too overboard with it, but I think I might've actually gone too light. Any thoughts?
Oooh... That's a nice and shiny Hyaku Shiki... I wants it! Pass on the Ka signature Super Gundam. I already have the rd g-defensor. Eventually I'll get the ka sig full armor Mk- II. They showed a Titans armor girls project with a Titans flying armor awhile back. I wish they'd get around to doing both flying armors if they're willing to do the Titans like they did the g defensor. They don't offer just the flying armor in 1/144 do they?
what the fuck I half want to try this now Sinanju MG Mechanical Clear + Clear UV Paint : Gunpla Second one done: Sazabi Clear MG + UV Paint : Gunpla
Looks good, a light touch does just enough, and if you want, you can fill in more silver on the corners and it won't be too overpowering! Damn!!! I kind of want to try that now myself!... I had a similar idea for what I want to do with my... 1..2.... 15.... empty 3 liter Whiskey bottles. Fill them with UV paint, and line them up on fence posts along the field, or landscape lights! - Now, arm armor, leg plates, and the chest armor.. getting some extra Red Comet on the dark parts and some gray where they meet the frame.
With how much BlueFin actually wants for the III, you should go for it. Give yourself the full Trinity .. I'm almost tempted myself seeing as I have the II, and prepaid for the III. So eventually I will get Tallgeese 1. *Yes, Blue Fin's preorder is a Pay Upfront. .. I'm sticking to my usual method and building the head last but I wanted to fix the colors of the horn and brow line. Since most of those parts I showed before were being painted, I decided to finish up what I had left in the pallet pan. The whole forehead and horn are in the pale red plastic, but I'm treating it with more of my paint recipe. Just a light coat for now, but it will sharpen up evenly later.
Already got Tallgeese III on lock...but on BBTS. Yeah, Bluefin's price is goddamn great but I don't want to prepay it and sink that money right now so BBTS works out for me in the end. I'm utterly excited. RG Tallgeese is absolutely a mold I'll do a third time.
I'm tempted to change my plan of doing the Tallgeese Trinity in Master Grade in favor of the Real Grade. I still want a Tallgeese 1 to paint in the TV colors, and I suppose the Real Grade would be the easiest to do that with.
I think for space concerns I'll do the Tallgeese alumni as RGs myself. I do love the MG but the RG is everything that was and just a bit more, plus the III getting released domestically is just a huge relief and makes having to pay aftermarket for II more bearable.
Yeah, the RG Tallgeese is probably one of the better RG kits available and the final results looks good even with little effort. And also, I need some help on something. This time around, I need to propose a web design idea which it'll be developed to a prototype app/website later for my university assignment. This is the survey I need to support my idea proposal. I'm sorry if this is off topic, through.
Thought about how to do that... I've got a Wing Zero and a tallgeese II to look at side-by-side and figure out how to Cobble the parts together..
Wouldn't it require the Tallgeese I as a base, since looking at pictures, the only piece of the Tallgeese II used is the head plume?
Just saying, it's the same basic frame up to the head. What's the attachment points for Tallgeese's vernier binders, and how can you adapt Wing Zero's backpack/wings to it.
I was just thinking in terms of colors, but of course I try not to repaint figures any more than I need to since I don't usually think about airbrushing as an option for wide area coverage (which reminds me, eventually I need to see if dad's never-taken-out-of-its-box airbrush from the 70's/80s is even able to operate with a current day air compressor...and still pick up that damn pin vise for the wood craftsman kit I need to get started on to drill the brake line run-throughs in the undercarriage...)
Technically the head plum and sub-wings are entirely unique to the Flugel, they just resemble the crest and wings of the II and Wing Zero.
The wings look identical to Zero's though, barring the split double-eagle (which honestly now that I look at it, looks suspiciously similar to the double aquilla from Warhammer 40K) From the manga: Endless Waltz RG Wing Zero: As you can see, the main wings brandish three feathers on the front and back, with a long feather at the tip, with more angular "TV Wing" sub-wings flanking them from behind.
