Was anyone successful in making their purchases for these on Aliexpress yet?

 

Well, I’m locked in smartlulup for $35.99, but he sent me a message saying it was delayed a couple weeks. No big deal. I have another coming from sirtoys.

 

@SirToys I ordered a set last Thursday and haven't gotten a tracking number yet. Are you still working on fixes/waiting for a restock? Looking forward to some deluxe scale Constructicons!!!

EDIT: Paypal had my old address and I updated it; will it process normally now?

 

Are you waiting on an email or have you checked your order on his site?

 

I had been checking the site on my phone and now that I'm on my PC to report a problem I see there actually is a message about the paypal address not being the same (it was used temp for a side business). Hopefully, it goes through now.

 

I have a order that was placed seven days ago with no tracking info yet with Sirtoys concerning this item. Shipping paid for was EMS. I messaged about it and got a reply back the next day that stated something about tracking will be added soon. I have a friend who has had a order sitting there for a bit longer then me now with no tracking. I believe he plans to file a paypal claim soon. Im not sure what the usual timeframe is for Sirtoys. I have only done one other order with him before, for a OS Hulkie. I think it got shipped out to me in like 3-4 days or something, so the wait time for that purchase wasnt long at all.

 

If anyone has an order problem open a Problem Report on the site. Don't email, don't pm. I likely have problem messages waiting for me on obscure message boards that I haven't visited in years  

I had a flood of orders for this very popular figure, sorry for the delay everyone, you'll get it. I understand from the buyers perspective it's 'click buy' - 'get toys'. Regular customers know I do a lot more than slap labels onto boxes. See my gallery of 40K pics of KOs, and the want-list. If you can't wait then maybe the label slapper sellers are better for you (while they're still in business).

KO CW Devastator (Downsized confirmed)

 

Got mine in today from ebay off of seller one*day_bid for $45 shipped. Took exactly 12 days to get to CA and the box was all beat up but the figure inside were not affected. I didn't mind since it's a cheap KO and I'm not looking to keep the box or anything.

Having it in hand, it's impressive that they got all the details true to the original mold but the flaws with the original CW mold are all still there. Straight out of the box though he was real loosely assembled. I had to reconnect a lot of the joints and connection points for his torso and limbs. Really wish DNA would consider converting their upgrade for this downsized version. Considering the price vs how much the originals cost, this is amazing. I am super pleased with this and it's my first KO purchase. All that needs to be done is to cover up the kbb faction symbol on the chestplate with real Decepticon one and he can fit right in with all the other combiners.

Looks awesome, I can’t wait for mine! I agree I wish they’d used the UW rather than CW version of this mold (mainly due to the lack of elbow motion on Scrapper & I think Long Haul?) but I can only assume this is all the makers had access to.

I REALLY hope a 3rd party company puts out some upgrades for this set, it only needs a few new parts & some reprolabels (and I’m convinced ToyHax will downsize their Devastator set if enough people ask!) to make this an A-Level release (& this is from someone who has the Uw Devastator with about 4 different sets of upgrades!)

Now, who do we need to beg to get a matching Predaking set?!

Like I said, you were fast to respond to me when I sent a message, so you didn't give me any impression that you are ignoring people, so dont take what I said above as a complaint, at least on my part. You were fast to message me back, and you were fast to ship my prior order, so I dont have any issues with you yet as far as I am concerned. The above was just a statement of fact to let people know you do reply to messages sent. I tend to be pretty blunt when I state things. I cant say what my friend will do concerning his purchase. He has waited a bit longer then me now. I also dont know what he ordered, he didn't go into details, and I dont know if he has tried to email you or message you through the site yet.

He just dropped me a pm out of nowhere yesterday on FB asking if Id heard anything about my package cause I told him a tad over a week ago I planned to order this new Devi after you had posted about it on FB. I told him yeah there was a delay and that you messaged me back next day after I sent a message through the site, saying tracking would be available soon. I told him about this thread and that you post on here, you having to check qc issues with CBB Devi, and that all that could be causing delays. I even showed him one of the video reviews showing Scrappers hands on backwards, so that he could see there is some legit QC stuff going on, so he would understand that you may be busy having to deal with that mess. After I gave him the youtube link I have not heard back from him. Like I said, I dont know what he ordered. He may have not even ordered one of these. He usually collects legends scale stuff.

 

I ordered it to Giftlove, but after he sent it, he tells me that the parcel returned and that I must await until next week for the restock...

Hah thats cool. My first order I did with sirtoys was for that OS Hulki and he threw in some small F1 race car bot thing. I still have it.

 

It’s not that hasbro made devy too big, they made all the other combiners too small.

Really, they could re-release, or re-deco them in multiple colors. You mentioned G2, but shattered glass makes sense too. I wouldn’t oppose other colors either, however the price point they’d want wouldn’t turn a profit for them in the masses.

To be honest, me seeing a video of cw devastator a summer prior to its release is what got me back into purchasing official TFs, now as an adult. In the 80s I had the original devy & predaking as a kid; and while predaking was great & admired by cousins & friends I’d play with, devy (as a toy) was fickle. I vividly remember losing interest in the line years later when a cousin with chromedome & other headmasters (figures & gimics I had zero interest in) used them to punch devy. Sure, me getting older and getting other interests also played a role, but that’s a memory that stuck out in my mind; whereas seeing how big that cw devy was going to be, it seemed to right the wrongs I had unknowingly been scarred with all these years.  

As you say, ‘not one person will make a difference,’ in money hasbro hasn’t gotten from you due to their size decision... for me it has meant thousands of $s not being in my account, but put into the hands of sellers of their products, which somehow (to a much smaller degree) trickles down to their profits.

But hey, what a time to be a fan, as now products are being made at scale, overscale or underscale in order to allow fans the options to get what they want (just not when we might impatiently want it).
