BW Megs comes with a stand adapter specifically designed to mimick the scene where Primal holds him over his head too

Except you made the pic with Primal too big. The head heights match up but not the foot heights. Blackarachnia also is too small compared to Megs in that chart vs the image posted.

The scale isn't dramatically off of course, but she should be a full head shorter, but she looks to be only about 1/4 of a head shorter at most.

Or I'm way off and it's just specific angles and she's correctly sized to a T, but I'm thinking back to the pics of her and Shadow Panther and looking at what you posted and my brain is going "nah man it ain't right."

 

On the scale chart, the red line at the top of Blackarachnia goes to about the middle of cheetor's head, not the bottom. Looking at the comparisons to Megatron, that looks right on.

Note that in the picture with Tigatron and Cheetor, her knees are bent and she's being pushed down.

 

Some madmen don't even use the stand.

 

The lack of her cyber-venom missile is actually very disappointing to me.

 

Packaging is most definitely usually one of the coolest parts of collecting toys.

 

Heh..don't forget Megatron comes with adaptors to interact with Dinobot's Stand  

 

With regards to @lord ginrai's point about Megatron's adaptors, there is a difference between a piece that is designed to be reverse compatible (interacting with something that came before it) and a piece that is designed to be forwards compatible (interacting with something that doesn't exist).

With MP Primal, the plug on his back serves no purpose in and of itself. It's been mused that it could connect him with a future MP Rattrap, but we won't know for sure until such a figure is revealed.

It may turn out that the plug exists purely for the storage piece that came with the redeco version.

MP Blackarachnia's cable is in the same vein. We know she plugs it into Tarantulas on the show, but we will only know if this accessory does that once MP Tarantulas is revealed.

 

I like Blackarachnia.

 

Indeed I do agree that, like Primal's back peg, Blackarachnia's visor cord might suggest interaction with future figures. It's all very interesting and welcome however it's nothing new until it actually happens.

 

Have to give them some credit, alt mode looks kind of good on the magazine pics when you realize getting the bulbous part of the spider is smoke and mirrors manipulating the legs to give enough of a resemblance. Seeing how small she is and her backpack, there's not much to make up all that. She'll have her bad angles but 3/4 front and top she looks pretty good.

 

So have we discussed why the screaming face has green eyes? To recreate when Tarantulas and her had the psychic link?

Do wish she had a regular non-green-eyed screaming face. And can't wait to see her smiling face in high-res!

Here is my stab at the scale using Actar's picture (as his Primal was a bit large). In the below picture I scaled Primal on top of the other one so their shoulders, left foot, and head were matched up. I then move the picture over so Cheetor's right foot is lined back up with Blackarachnia's left foot:

To me it looks like Cheetor will be JUST a bit taller, mainly due to his helmet. Cheetor is also posed more upright though. I am still fine with this but it does appear that Blackarachnia will be a bit too tall... of course I could be way off.

 

Maybe there's a chance the eyes are optional in all three faces. I hope so since I like displaying head swapping action figures doing mid-talking or yelling in action poses.

 

Well they did do the eye swap for Cheetor, so it sets the pecedent. I'd be more surprised if the eyes don't swap.

 

The eye swap for Cheetor was only on the beast mode, we've yet to see a robot mode one...however like I said on page 133, I do hope you are right.

Cheetor's beast head is quite a bit bigger, making the eye swap easier and safer. If BA bot eyes swap, I'd be scared swapping them each time, for fear of snapping them.    

 

Haha, guys I was one of the people who made the chart, I just wanted to use an official image that depicted her scale. Others are right though, in the new magazine shot she is in front of Megs not stood side by side and in the Mainframe poster she isn't stood up straight. It's just a rough look at how big some of those characters might be in MP form. I'm glad it's been accurate as far as each MP being released so far but Blackarachnia is one of the characters whose height was harder to determine, so our unofficial chart could be wrong this time. We may have to wait until she's in hand to get real size comparison pics like the ones posted before with a straight angle and everyone lined up square.

 

@GALVATOM Don't be so modest mate. You spearheaded the project.

Repositioning MP Megs today, I think I was a little hasty with my estimate of her height. She's probably closer to 15cm.
