I was only discussing what we got in the films. Comics or show are a separate thing. Quintessa transforms or changes into something. Like Alice in TF2. The creators were clearly an alien species with metallic bone structures. I can almost guarantee they were not meant to transform.

 

I was using the other forms of media to give further examples, but I did mention the human villains as non Transformer villains in the movies themselves.
I don't remember Quintessa transforming, just she had another appearance at the end that could have been a hologram. But it could have been a transformation, I don't recall seeing it on camera. Just like I don't recall anything definitively saying the creators could NOT transform. The cartoon Quintessons didn't transform, though, if we want to use that as an example.
Quintessa's name also leads me to believe she's a Quintesson given how similar they are, and the cartoon Quintessons were the TF creators. Also, she seemed to have a lot of power for being a regular transformer...

 

The movies have never been that competent. Quintessa wasn't shown changing forms just
like they didn't show Galvatron changing to Megatron. I'll admit her name leaves more questions then answers.
The creators from TF4 were influenced from thequintessons in the old cartoons. And if they're anything like the old cartoons, they also don't transform.

 

Yeah, everything considered I'm lead to believe Quintessa is a Quintesson who are the creators, not Transformers themselves.

 

And I'll stay with my belief that she is not a Quintesson from Age of Extinction.
