I'm surprised thats what you went after considering there's an optimus right there that's worse quality and doesn't even transform into a truck
The other crap courtesy of the Cyberverse line goes w/o saying (so I just scroll right by it as if it was never there). I wouldn't mind some decent Scraplets in the CHUG line that I could troop build but this is all Hasbro will make. So I'm bypassing that to.
The scraplet is cute... but I think the scale will be waaaaay off. At least for us older fans of TF Prime. TMNT sold Mouser robots in packs of 5 - there's no reason Hasbro couldn't make these smaller, without the stupid spin gimmick, and in multi-packs. I realize that these awful Cyberverse toys are "made for kids", but I want to see if they're actually "selling to kids". Because the Jar Jar Binks argument only works in so far as the idea does not TANK THE BRAND with unsold merch and angry stores. Without seeing actual sales figures (which Hasbro would never provide anyway), I suspect the Cyberverse toys are inexpensive to produce, over-priced, and therefore very lucrative to retail outlets (and Hasbro). The "Evergreen" toy line echoes this theory: "let\'s find a way to make cheaply made TFs a mainstream thing!" There's been plenty of conversations about TFs looking more and more like KOs, right? I'm afraid it's going to keep going that way... because a Cyberverse toy is frankly a sad excuse for a good TF product. Botbots are also not the quality you'd expect from the brand. All of that hurts the brand appeal because some consumers (how many?) will end up seeing the brand very differently from you and I. And since the target demographic is kids, don't expect these kids to be buying product for the long haul if all they experience is Cyberverse, Evergreen, and Botbots product.

Whatever happened to those oversized legends and uniquely made shockwave/prime and such. Those cheaper evergreen toys that showed up only in Canada I think. They seemed like an amazing thing for kids. They weren’t filled with gimmicks and just transformed , looked pretty good , and were fairly cheap for what they are...
i have bought a few of the scout class cyberverse bots , only because the bot modes do soometimes look quite nice . I just dont bother transforming them because that does disappoint . Scraplet looks cute and i do like the design .... sadly i doubt i will see it in store here as all the few shops that stock cyberverse ever have now is Optimus , Bee , Megatron and Grimlock .
Aww Skybyte looks so cute. I got Generations Skybyte for my kid when he turned 6 and he loved it. Even kept it on a shelf like my toys. This is much more age appropriate. Plus he wouldn’t have to bug me to transform him
I think Hasbro is really underestimating the intelligence of kids with these aweful renditions....with tge exception of Megatron and Grimlock there.
