Lots of crap, yet another Carol Danvers book that's destined to fail and look, more previous continuity bait. It's a damn shame that '84 is only a single issue prequel to the original Marvel run, but I have a feeling it'll be better than the reboot has been so far, easily.
Kei Zama back as an artist for issue #12? Aw yeah! Her art made me enjoy Optimus Prime. I'm also interested for this take on Nautica.
Excited about #0 .. I grew up with the Marvel TFverse comic. Too bad it's not a mini series because there's a lot that could be told pre-earth. Buuut they're probably trying to focus on the new TFverse moving forward.
Bumblebee did mention a faction called the "Primals", you can also see Waspinator in the image you posted too.
Thought I was looking at Marvel solicts. I wonder how much benefit IDW will be getting from this Marvel Action line. Between the licensing and how much kids will actually buy comics these days....
It's honestly something Marvel SHOULD be doing themselves. Their reluctance to actually shoulder all-ages comics is baffling, whereas DC has a bunch of them. Also reading the issue 0 solicit, I wonder if Furman's trying to set up "Man of Iron"?
My thought as well. It's not like IDW has more reach than Marvel, right? Oh well. Just a random thought looking at these solicts.
*looks at Nautica again* I wouldn't say that. She's the Titans Return mold with more detail, looking closer.
I also grew up with the Marvel comic and am definitely looking forward to this when it comes out. It may not be a miniseries, but I'll take what I can get. I'd love to see toys for both of them in WFC Part 2. If the Paradron Medic gets made as well, that would be icing on the cake.
If they're bringing in Nautica and Road Rage, I might actually have to start reading this. Love those two
