I am totally making an Ion Storm/General Megatron deck

 

Seeing this artwork for Optimus makes me wonder if he\'ll end up taking on this form in the comic. Like, maybe he gets the Galaxy Upgrade, turns the tide of the battle, but gets so damaged that they have to replace or reformat his body in some way. It would be a good way to transition forms without making him OP for more than an issue or so.

 

I like seeing the truck mode art flipping the wheels down like it’s a hover mode from War/ Fall of Cybertron 

 

I hope so too. His voyager look is infinitely better than the galaxy "upgrade" imo so I hope the comics start using it soon.

 

Can we get a Matrix of Leadership reprint. It's going for $10+

You'll have to elaborate. There are various different versions of Optimus and Megatron. Akin to how in Magic the Gathering there are different versions of the same-named Planeswalker.

That being said, If this came about 20 years ago, I'd have been all over it!

 

Same goes for Wave 1 for Wave 2, but none of them were rares like Matrix. I guess what I was trying to state was - I highly doubt they will reprint cards like Matrix while Wave 1 is still in print.

 

I'm kind of hoping we don't get reprints of certain cards. Not for the rarity option or pricing but I would love to see newer decks have to adjust to old cards and have the designers make cards to somehow combat those old cards.

 

Backup Bag seems good, it's basically turning x3 Grenade launchers into almost x6 Grenade launchers. I wonder how the math actually would shake out? (odds of drawing grende launchers and drawing/flipping Backup bags?) Although I suppose you also need to play both. It would be tough to hold onto a Grenade Launcher waiting for a Backup Bag, the better move would be just to play it and let it get scrapped most of the time.

 

Greens are very easy to get, actually. The worst case scenario is when you flip two in one battle, so you can only grab one. Just make sure you have a card in-hand you're willing to sacrifice for it.

 

I doubt they will direct reprint the rares. They are more likely to either release a slightly similar card or at most change the art and position it as a new card.

 

I hope Dogfight comes out in this set.
