This would go well with a red SG/Deadpool repaint of their Ater Beta!

Saw this up at Toy Dojo yesterday. It's a lot heavier than I expected.

does anyone think the gundam beam gatling gun will work with Saltus or would they be too small, either the 1/144 or 1/100 scale?

    Saltus is ~MP-10 height, yes?

Then most Gundam weapons are going to be too small, IMO. A 1/144 Gundam is typically 5" tall, and a 1/100 Gundam is ~8". A nice big gatling might look beastly on a relatively lithe Gundam frame, but Springer's a burly dude. That, combined with the underscaled weapon, and it won't look very impressive at all.

There was a Kotobukiya rotary gatling kit that might be an okay size for him. Still meant for a 7-8" model kit, but it was a pretty bulky gun that might at least make for an overkill handgun of sorts.

I can't think of any 1/60 Gundams (12" scale) with big gatling guns. Most of the kits at that scale have fairly basic armaments, unless you're going to splurge on a PG kit, which isn't something you just raid for parts.

For 1/100, the only suitable weapons at that size are mostly from huge MSs like Sazabi/Sinanju. Unicorn's Beam gatling would be kinda small. There's the Chilok kit which might be what you're looking for, if you're strictly looking for Gatling types:

Otherwise, MG Sazabi's weapon fit him fine (Sorry for the grainy pic lol):

    EXTRA HEADS?!?

This could be the medicine every Big Spring owner has been aching for. Does anyone own both? Would a swap work?

I think someone posted a pic a while back. It would take a modification of some sort to make it work, but it did appear to be an upgrade for Big Spring.

As much as I love my T30 Springer, this looks like a superior figure even though it's not IDW. I'm sure he's way out of scale, but how does he look next to Carnifex?

looks like Carnifex is as tall as MP Star Saber, don't know if that helps, just did a quick picture search and that was the first thing I saw.
looks about a head taller than MP Ultra Magnus.

    That would be me.
Details are in the Big Spring Thread over here.
The modification is very easy to do; I was actually surprised that so few seemed to follow the idea. Maybe because by now most owners have made some sort of reluctant peace with the stock face or one of the slightly less ugly options.

I didn’t think I’d want an MP Springer, but this one has really drawn me in. I wish it were slightly more Studio Ox, a little less rounded in the thighs, and with a little more panel lining or other greebly details. I’m not really into the toon look. But still, it’s hooked me in.

I don't collect MP, just what I like, and picked this up on an impulse and it was the best decision I've made in years concerning Transformers collecting. Though I do like the molds for MMC's Overlord and Sky Lynx better, I'd have to say this might just be the most fun mold MMC has produced in a long time. Like Feralcons long time. And after reading the interview with the designer I can really see where his sensibilities went into creating this toy and why it's so fun to handle.

The toy has actually made me a fan of Springer. It's more poseable than some Marvel Legends, and is easily the most poseable Transformer I own. I said earlier I'd like to see MMC take on Sandstorm and Broadside and I'm going to echo it again. This is my first OM figure, but if they keep pumping out triple changers like this it won't be my last. Hell maybe I'll actually become Sandstorm's biggest fan. Probably not though. Sandstorm is no one's favorite.

Oh that could be pretty good.
Hmm I dunno. Looks a bit too much like a mod then a seamless fix.
