Rg Tallgeese II arrived yesterday and I was pretty excited looking at the runners for it so that's what I'm probably going to be working on this weekend. I couldn't resist the mg Dynames so it'll be here today. If I don't build the Tallgeese II this weekend I'll definitely be working on the Dynames. It'll be my first mg build.

I might just grab that Dodai Kai for my Barzam, price looks pretty reasonable for a P-Bandai and it'll make a neat display.
The Tallgeese is a great mould. Also fuck, you just reminded me how EB Games still hasn't got my MG Dynames in yet. x(
I'll take that metal akatsuki Gundam as long as the finish is shiny and chrome... Err I mean gold plated? I mean I have Strike Freedom and the Destiny is on pre-order. I totally forgot it's a three day weekend so I can totally get both kits done
Finally had a moment to ice my leg this morning since Caboose realized that his escape route was closed... Big guy doesn't want me hitting him in the bell Clapper with a stick nor touching high tensile electric wire. Guess 1,700 lbs doesn't like 7,000 volts... So, I did some more vernier modifications for Sazabi. The ones attached to the legs are the same as the hip mounted types, linked together with a bar. Times like these I'm glad I didn't glue them in place when I first built the frame. I marked them so that they go back in place as they were originally. A quick snip with my nippers and a little sanding later.. Now back to farm work...
Damn that is shiny! Bought. Lol, I plan on getting the metal infinite justice but it's a lower priority than this one and Real type Musha.
And now for HORROR THEATRE and a little bit later... I have since enlightened him to the existence of sprue nippers and he'll be taking a trip to the local Michaels with a 40% off coupon to aquire the nippers.
My excuse for using just a pocket knife to cut pieces out was that I was eleven. Luckily they were just the cheap wing kits they sold at toys r us way back. Now I have a decent toolkit. Still learning though. But yeah, sprue cutters are amazing and I'll never work on a kit without one. Speaking of kits, opened mg Dynames... I'm getting chills... Can't wait to put it together. For now it'll probably be nothing more than a straight build. But looking at the parts I wanted a bigger challenge and this seems to fit the bill. That and the rg Tallgeese II. Should be a relaxing memorial day weekend if everyone leaves me alone. Oh I almost forgot that I ordered a full armor Gundam 7th. Seemed like a standard decent kit and one I could practice painting and maybe use some of the stockpile of my drunkenly obtained parts on it to tweak it just a bit. I already don't like the paint scheme but it looks like it has plenty of details if I can figure out what kind of scheme I want to use on it.
We all started with cuticle cutters, and the x-acto knife after your idiot brother drove it into his finger.... Yes, that really happened. speaking of red everywhere.. I'm treating the undersides differently than I normally would on a kit with flaired parts because they move. That's why theres only enough gray behind the silver honeycomb So there's gray where moving parts intersect and red the rest of the way.. I will give the dark red a touch of Red Commet on the raised panels.
found out Code Geass was on Netflix, binged the entire thing the past three days. Anyone here ever build Bandai's Guren and Lancelot Knightmares?
It's a shame these are mostly going to disappear.. The added (brighter) red trim looks good on there. Let some ink and paint dry on the rest of this, cut the last few parts from the runners, and the Legs will be done.

I looked at them before on Hobby Search, and they look like they're the typical "Series" High Grade kits like the Eureka Seven models: simple construction in an equivalent to 1:144 scale, decals... lots and lots of decals.
Leg flairs are finished, with an extra coat of Red Comet. I'm pleased to see the underlayer is still visible once it goes into High Mobility Mode. Now I just need to put the cover plate over the rear thrusters. I do see an area I'm thinking about adding more of my pale red recipe to match the lighter toned plastic, but it's boxed up with Johnny Ridden's Zaku.. I'll collect it from storage later. It's like I said before, if you take away the robust armor, Sazabi is a more nimble looking frame.
Targeted and firing! Targeted and firing!! Enjoy! -- I dug the bottle of "Crimson Lightning" from the Johnny Ridden box... I'll say one good thing about this 100 degree heat; it solubilized my paint while I was feeding cows! I've since transfered it into a Tamiya bottle because the paper seal from the old Testors jar was about to fail and applied a first coat.
