Been waiting for these little buggers, but I still have to wait before hitting ship.  

 

Because he's an Erector reference and people want more Erector.

 

What's weird is I was in the market for Mudflap and his wavemate Inferno back in 2015, and BBTS had a preorder for both that eventually came in and sold out shortly thereafter (I ended up getting them from a board member). That was well before TRU went under. Now they are both up for preorder again. They must just keep re-spawning!

 

Saw BBTS has the four pack of Sideswipe, Hound, Cog, Skythread for 59.99 today.

My last item from them was “substandard”. I’m not sure what that is supposed to mean, because the box was in perfect shape and looked totally new and fine.

 

And my BTAS Harvey Bullock was standard grade and had a crease on the card... At this point I'm almost thinking substandard might get you a better chance of undamaged packaging. Well not really, but yeah, even standard doesn't always mean standard.

I also had my first experiences with different levels of flat rate shipping. I'm guessing its based on weight. My second most recent sent PoL did not have to be signed for, and my most recent was Fed-Ex then USPS for final leg Smart Post. With BBTS charging sales tax, anything with more than 30 days left to ship I hold off on, it spreads the bills out and doesn't hit me at once.

 

I'm hoping this means they'll bring back the 'Daily Deals' again.

 

Most likely a warehouse find, old unsold TRU stock.

 

I ordered a "Substandard" UW Baldigus and they sent me one that not only was MISB, but was still sealed inside the original Takara shipping box, which itself was wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a BBTS box.

I never figured out what they thought was wrong with it.

 

Could be the person packing it didn't notice or care.

 

Except, as you can see from this thread, it wasn't just me having this experience.

Also, they only had Substandard available when I bought Baldigus. That means the site (and whoever runs inventory) made the determination they didn't have any "Standard Grade" figures left.

 

I'm pretty sure that gets entered in on receiving and then gets modified by shipped orders... I'm siding with the previous poster and saying that they shipped some substandards out as standard to some unlucky recipients. It pretty well explains everything and I've gotten items from them that were clearly returned or set aside as damages (they had post-its noting them as such) but still ended up in my hands and caused a hassle. Their warehouse pickers are not great at what they do.

 

Just saw that MP Dinobot is in my POL. Damn glad I already had the money set aside.

So i mentioned before my first order from BBTS has not arrived and it's lost for good. So I did get store credit and u spent it on something else. And sure enough, that package has arrived.

Maybe I will still shop at BBTS only if there is something I want but can't find anywhere else.

 

seems like you just had some really bad luck with your first order.

Did the tracking number say it was lost?

The fact that BBTS made it right by giving you store credit should assure you that their service is top notch.
