If you had the ability to change the Transformers' brand's NAME what would YOU change it to and why? Or would you keep it the same?

The beings who are able to change their own appearance through the act of turning from one form to the next: Robotic people with an In-built sentient AI that are able to easily conceal their own appearance through the use of changing their identity

That video just popped into my mind when I read this thread.

Robot Avengers. At least, I think that's what Hasbro would like to call it if it could...

If we absolutely cannot keep "Transformers", I'd take a page from Japan's book and rebrand the franchise "Cybertrons"

If I had to, I'd rebrand it as Technomorphs or even better, Cybermorphs. Now, if I were allowed to, I'd ditch the Decepticon name for something like Destron, the way that Japan did it.

    Not me, but...

    Optimus Prime and the Autobots.

...you know Hasbro's thought about it.

Marketing would have shortened it to “Optibots.” Maybe the “Mighty Optibots.” Nah, that’s dumb. Surely no transforming robot series in the 80s would name itself anything like “The Mighty Obtibots.”

It's the same case with me, lol.

If we're going to keep the rest of the brand as it is, something like the aforementioned "Optimus Prime and the Autobots" might be fitting. Or even just "Autobots".

Although if we were to rename the franchise, I would guess it would be because we're fundamentally changing the brand. Let's say we're removing anything too kiddy or cartoony, and making it a more serious sci-fi franchise for adults (in the vein of something like Star Trek). In that case, we'd probably also have to remove names like "Autobot", "Decepticon", "Bumblebee", "Starscream", "Cybertron", etc. I'd argue we can keep something like "Optimus Prime", that still sounds fairly alien. Or maybe they'd just all have numeric names, like the Star Wars droids. If this were the case, I would guess it would be called something kind of generic, like "The Battle for Earth".
