Grey knees and forearms would interest me more. If they wanted to do two different colour options that is fine but even then the forearms and knees still need to be grey and the other deco they'd be painted silver. I like both of the usual Hasbro/Takara Brawn decos I have no particular preference other than perhaps it might be nice to have him >not< be the same shade of green as any toy of Hound.

Fanstoys often slightly miss the target on my personal tastes though - that is why I have so few of their toys, But i'm leaning more in their direction lately than I am Make Toys - since they just seemed to have Jumped every sharkticon they could find lately.

 

I just want to know if there will be a fanstoys Pidge, Keith, Lance, Allura.

 

Anyone have the Final Victory Brawn here? Thoughts? I know he is not as finished, detailed... but looks decent?

He has a painted helmet in this, his helmet colour is a bit light otherwise

 

Looks pretty good. It's the peg hands I can't do. Same reason I can't do Zeta/ Toyworld Seaspray or Cosmos.

Photo mash up for easier viewing. I dig everything but the metallic paint. If it was a darker green it wouldnt look so off. I would prefer a flat olive (drab) type green color, like the Badcube version.

 

what are the chances they could include replaceable/interchangeable hands that give him the G1 toy accurate hands? drill hands would be great too, heck optional G1 toy head too

 

It's funny how folks complained that FT Spindrift was too heroic looking....meaning it didn't look as stocky and stout as the toon appearance. Yet no one seems to be saying about the Final Victory version of Brawn.

 

... we are going to need a big die-cast metal metallic painted Castle of Lions for their base too.  

 

I dunno about the rest but I have heard that complaint here and there, mostly when the protos where shown... but yeah thats the very reason I never even considered FV brawn, I always picture him as a more stocky guy

 

If we check the thread there, a bunch people will said FV brawn is too heroic. But i prefer FV than BC brawn.

 

I have brawny and he is a damn floppy mess. I will probably get the FT version. My own personal take on this.

 

The door and side window area is a little off. I can't unsee it. Those tiny doors..

I was just thinking how FT’s is too heroic. FV is just plain out of proportion in every way to me.

 

Not to mention, Badcube doesn't like to make their minibots with rubber tires (same with XTB) which is a real shame, considering that they aren't exactly cheap to buy. BC Huffer 2.0 and Pipes don't have that premium 3P MP look and feel IMO. That plus BC Huff 2.0 inaccurate cab design. I was rather disappointed.

 

As has been said elsewhere, the hands/forearms throw things off pretty badly. To me they look unpainted. Hope they add a little more color to them.

 

I wish this wasn’t going to be $90.
