Why so tall? Also proportions are a bit too athletic and lanky. He should be more stubby.

This reminds me of ft buff perceptor and ft skinny jeans cyclonus.

They make the weirdest proportions for characters. Ft galvatron while slightly too buff looked great. It fit him. The other examples, it does not fit as good.

At least the derp faces are gone....

So far I see him turning up on sites that ship to the US but nothing on Canada yet... unless I'm looking in the wrong places.

As much as I like the buffer takes on Warpath, like his Geneations toy, Badcube Wardog or how he looked in Animated, it's really impressive to see a beefy tank turn into such a slim, almost Spider-Manesque robot. The transformation has to be a sight to behold.

If I bought this it would only be for the tank mode but I hope they dont use chrome on the tracks. Also the big brackets behind the turret are a let down.

Guess I'll be waiting for that, then. I don't like this metallic look at all.

One thing's for sure, the transformation will be a picnic compared to the Badcube version.

I hated transforming Bad-cubes Warpath. Was really frustrating to transform. But it does look good in both modes after. For me, it wasn’t worth all the F-bombs

I genuinely enjoyed the complex difficulty of Badcubes Warpath, definitely not as much on those bizarre shoulder armatures, but the rest was great. This guy is a mixed bag to me. I hate the metallic paint, doesn't fit him at all IMO, The bot mode looks really nice, though, especially if he's as small as his screw holes make him appear, but that tank mode looks really ugly to me. If he's relatively cheap, I'll probably snag him, but based so far, he wouldn't even be worth replacing my Final Victory Warpath, let alone Badcube.

Warpath has a pretty basic headsculpt though. It’s basically flat plates with some eyes peering out. There’s no mouth or nose.

Honestly I wouldn’t hold your breath. Talk to the Hound toy deco crowd, or the folks wanting a blue Galvatron. FT has become a lot less interested in multiple decos on recent years. Phoenix was more of an anomaly than he was expected. I’m still waiting for the faintest hint of a Paradron Medic repaint.
My hope is that the pics are just inaccurate.

Have we had any word from @dalianjj on the colours for Brawn, Warpath or the silver Aerialbot?

Dinobots, Skyfire, Cyclonus... I agree it's improbable it's just not impossible.

This figure looks too damn shiny and won't get my money. May not mean much to them but that's how it is.

The more I look at the pics and think about how Sheridan would fit in with my S2 Autobots, the more I'm losing my interest. He looks nice, but for my taste he's too tall, too slim and too shiny. I've always liked Wardog, even if he's a bit bulky and takes some liberties in robot mode. Not sure if I want to swap him out. I'll need more group shots.

BSF posted a commentary video on the latest photos with the shiny metallic paint. He thinks it's good, no surprise. Literally the only other figure in an MP collection that has a similar finish is Quietus. None of the other FT bots have this sort of shiny metallic finish, not to mention everything else G1 MP-wise. It also looks nothing like the the finish on the toon or the toy.

What's shown in these photos don't look like anything else on his shelf, so not sure why he thinks the paint finish is as expected. I can understand Paint King Bobby liking paint for the sake of paint, but to act like the finish on this trio is normal is just strange because it hasn't been the norm even for FT.

So we all continue to hope it's just some weird artifact of the garish lighting and all will be well in the actual product. But we've been finding FT's actual products to deviate from expectations for both of their 2019 new releases (FT-10X and RoadKing) so uncertainty is the theme right now.

He\'s rather svelte for Warpath. Don\'t get me wrong, I admire the clean job they did on him, but I think he needs a little more bulk. I like interpretive takes, and think Badcube did a better job, but that\'s just my own subjective taste.

    That paint tho.

Tracks is metallic blue, and their Sixshot is metallic. This however is looking like 11 or 12 of their next releases will be metallic and we haven't seen Beachcomber yet.

Tracks? lol not noticeably on the shelf, and there's so little of his alt mode blue showing in botmode it's easily overlooked. Whereas these would stand out like a sore thumb.
Hydra is only metallic on his chest, and like Quietus is a much later series (s4, iirc) bot than any of the regular release season 1 or 2 FT figures, none of which are metallic like that. A metallic finish on these figures would also look strange against all of the other s1 & s2 figures on their shelf from Takara and other companies. So it pretty much HAS to be bad camerawork, Fans Toys couldn't possible be so foolish as to release them looking like that.

I was out of the 3P MP business, but this looks so sweet that it may change my mind.

    The design is beautiful.

    The shiny paint is terrible.
