Dammit. Right when I thought I was free from this accursed hobby for a little while. I'm keeping MP Star Saber, he means a lot to me for a lot of reasons. But I'm also going to need this one.

 

Agreed. My TT MP Star Saber will be in altmode with all my Toyhax stickers finally applied. Then, this one will be my bot mode for my display. He's just stylized enough to be slightly out of aesthetic range, but can easily be rationalized by the fact he is Future Tech Transformers, and not the original G1 versions. Like a natural progression or in theor case, evolution of the species. Would be great to have them do all of Transformers Victory and then Zone. So from that series on up, its like the Autobots and Decepticons became more advanced, eventually leading to that singularity moment where they evolved later into Maximals and Predacons.

 

Yeah he looks great. To be honest it's kind of what Star Saber would look like if he was in the opening scene of Bumblebee.

 

I suppose I could see it in that movie on Cybertron, but I've seen enough mecha anime and Gundam to see this figure fitting into my G1 collection, especially if they make those other great combiners, and car bots. Road Ceaser, Machtackle, Dashtacker, Wingwaver, and Greatshot. Plus all those awesome villains from the series. Especially Deathzaurus, and Liokaiser.

What's got me so excited about this design, and the direction the company is going in, is that it can easily fit in with my MPs from G1, and yet as a natural progression looks as you would expect the TFs in the future to be like.

On the subject of Leozack and Liokaiser..

Leozack is like for me, the equivalent of G1 Starscream. Always treacherous and scheming. He's a pretty cool bot and has a great Altmode too..

If they can capture that smug and smirking look for him, that would be a bonus..

Think of Liokaiser as Starscream with his seeker buddies, who also is a gestalt, and you pretty much have Liokaiser in a nutshell..


He really is one of my favorite characters in the TF Victory series..


I just hope they can take that dynamic look of Star Saber and capture his feel when and if they ever do him as a figure..

This custom is about the best I have ever seen in plastic format, I hope they can do one just as well or better..

The thing about Liokaiser is when he combines with his fellow decepticons, is that he is about the same size as Star Saber when combined, more then a match for him, but when Victory Leo and Star Saber combine, then Star Saber is much more powerful, and able to take on the boss Deathzaurus.

Galaxy Shuttle would be a good one too, he was bigger than Star Saber, but weaker when Star Saber combined with Victory Leo..

when I Think of Liokaiser, I somehow am reminded of Voltron. It's that Lion headed mask covered helmet that does it, and I love it. I just hope this company decides to move forward with this line as a line based on Victory and not just a one off, or the villain and hero and that is it.. cause Victory deserves a good line of figures, and I like what I see so far..
except the altmode gaps!!
