I mean, yeah, the finish is looking a little odd, but the colors don't seem that far off from how he was depicted in the cartoon (for whatever that's worth). The animation model is the darker green, which I think is what most of us associate Brawn with, but I think FT is making a valid choice with the green, it just maybe needs a little tweaking.

Of course, it's the cartoon, so the colors are all over the place. I know I tend to think of something pretty close to the green FT is showing in these shots when I think of Brawn's color scheme. And I usually want to see his chest more orange than yellow, so I think the colors are okay, but something about the finish - in all their product shots since Breakdown's color shots - looks odd.

 

Am i the only one who sees a baby duck face as the front of the vehicle?

I would buy this color instantly. Hopefully it looks more like this.

 

What are you guys talking about his feet are sunbow? When did he have a camel toe????

 

Not quite sure what creature it is, but there's definitely a face there.
I almost see that robot from that cartoon, Invader Zim:

Maybe some kind of drill or winch add-on will be provided to help break it up.

 

If GIR's face was on the toy it would be an instant buy.

 

Not sure if this has been brought up before but Brawn's G1 physical appearance, particularly the "helmet" and body color scheme looks awfully like Man At Arms.

 

He does, but it's probably coincidence. Brawn's pre-Transformers Micro Change figure was the same color scheme. They didn't change anything when they made him a Transformer and he had that weird helmet iirc.

 

The coloring kills me.

 

I like the feet just as they are.

 

This is actually the first FT figure that really tempts me. The green looks fine to me, though I’d prefer it less shiny. I’d like the arms to be silver, but it isn’t a dealbreaker. The sculpt is fantastic.

 

i think the coloring is off, yellow needs to closer orange, that green needs more blue mixed in and above all else, the forearms NEEEEEEEED to be painted silver.
SILVER PAINT ON THE ARMS AND KNEES!

otherwise it looks like it will be a nice hunk of Brawn
oh and i wanna see him next to some other minibots (besides warpath) for reference

Am I the only one who finds it a little odd and annoying that some people always see cameltoes in new TF releases?

 

I consider it a form of rorschach test and prefer not to dwell too deeply on what’s it suggests about those people.
