R.I.P. my friend. Wish in paradise there is no diseases Met with you in botfest 2017 when we had a short talk in person won't imagined it's a last meeting we made. Truly feel sad for the loss.
Very sad. I got to know Simon in the Singapore Sightings thread back when it was more of a chat thread for a group of fellow SG and a couple Malaysian collectors, rather than an actual sightings thread. Went to his wake and paid my respects on Monday and I showed his wife this tribute on TFW's frontpage. She was really appreciative and thankful for the tribute to Simon stating that she was always seeing him at this forum whenever he was at the computer. RIP, Simon.
While we didn't see eye to eye on a number of issues, sharing a love for amazing figure photography and Transformers figures still made him feel like family and it's as if a part of me was taken away with his passing. As someone who will most likely need major surgery within the next few years to correct a worsening congenital condition, I understand how great a role Transformers figures and similar hobbies play in lighting our darkest hours and giving us hope. It is because of this that I am proud to be a fan. I wish the utmost best for his friends and family. Meaning no disrespect, may I ask how old he was when he passed? While every death is untimely, I hope that he can rest easy knowing that he lived a fulfilling life that was spent making the days of other collectors just that much brighter.
Cancer cuts down another soul before thier time. I didn't know him personally, but I did enjoy his posts. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to all his family and friends. His Spark has become one with the Matrix. Til all are one.
Go find that bar in the great beyond, where those from TFW that passed before will raise their glass and welcome you with a mighty AAAAAAYYYY!!!! Rest in Peace TCracker, you will be missed.
Wow just wow, my deepest condolences, shocked to read this and sad to hear he was battling cancer for so long! I didnt know him personally but I was fond of his photography work and he always tempted me even more to purchase that figure because of his great photos. lol Rest in peace....rest in power!
Wow. Cancer is an illness that takes so many from us. Very sad to hear about TCracker. I enjoyed his posts. Cancer is so prevalent and the ways to best it are readily now for most kinds, but for greed this is not well known. My mother had cancer twice and beat it both times, yet my uncle caught his too late and just refused the crock of chemotherapy and accepted his fate. Why is our world so greedy that we haven\'t made this disease a thing of past? I don\'t mean to rant, cancer just touches a nerve and I hate that a member of this board lost his battle with it, especially knowing that save a few rare forms, it is totally beatable. Rest In Power TCracker. Your work will be missed, but you live on through it!
TCracker’s photography was certainly a sight to behold. My condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace and his contributions to this site will definitely be missed.
I am so sorry to hear the bad news, Cancer can be very evil at times...may he rest in the hands of the good lord. And as a fellow Transformer fan..Till all are one
Deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May his amazing contributions live on for years to come, 'til all are one.
Press F to Pay Respect "He lived a warrior... and died a hero. Let his spark join the Matrix, the greatest of Cybertron." (c) BW Optimus Primal. Episode - Code of Hero.
I don't remember where I read this, so apologies for not citing. It was along the lines of: "from the moment you take your first breath, you're eligible to die". It is crude, and awfully eye opening. We are all on borrowed time. All of us. But as real as that is, it is always devastating to see people go. I'm truly going to miss his posts on the Speculation Thread. And his amazing photography. Rest in peace, good sir.
Lurking around these boards for the better part of 13-odd years, you see a lot of usuals. A lot of recognizable avatars. I have seen his posts and Zoolander pic countless, countless times over the years. MP and 3P threads, plus all of his trememdous photos. Cancer is a bitch. I lucked out with mine but not everyone fairs the same. While I may not have known the person, I felt I knew the persona. A positive guy, key contributor to the community and I\'m sure he\'ll be missed. May he rest in peace and condolences to all who knew him as a friend or as family.
